Super ok
Underrated cover.
This song is still true today with everything happening in Ukraine and Israel.
October 2024 still one of the best New wave song 😊🎉❤shoutout from the Philippines brolouie Antonio🎬🚫🏸🐙☪🍦🐙
.....sweet times
Me recuerda mi adolescencia en Lima, Perú.
I found it interesting they covered this so faithfully to the Hooters' sound. This record came out before the Hooters released Nervous Night, so most people didn't know who the Hooters were.
To my beautiful family ❤
Discovered this 41 years late. Still happy to be here.
Move
gracias a la Radio NEW WAVE AND POST PUNK, escucho esta rola
Bought this album in 83 still love it still have it
Dinner
It wasn’t until 2017 when I discovered this song. I only knew of “China” which I saw the video a few times on MTV. It turns out the video for “Good As Gold” was a hit or miss video (and I totally missed it) because it received light rotation. Fast forward again to 2017, I have been playing this song quite a bit. It’s pretty good.
Beautiful song with a title that becomes much more relevant in these times.
This is good song red rockers of 80 new wave,,
“Choy-nah, Choy-nah”!
Awesome song love it❤
This video is dope, the song is dope, the message is Gold dope
A Chinese rock band should make a song named "America" too and do the same.
Amewica me rikey Amewica lol
CLASSIC OF STATION RADIO SUPERFM, LIMA-PERU, 1983
Hubo acaso una radio con ese nombre en Perú que ponían esa canción? No lo sabía.
Está musica. Suena muy. Fresca todavía. Muy adelantada asu época
M recuerda mi adolescencia. Miuy bienos recuerdos
Está rola es los Hootters. ?? Muy chida. Jajajajauy buena
Brilliant cover of a hooters song long live red rockers❤
Gracias a randy marsh conoci esta gran rola ❤
I was an AC assistant camera on this video shoot. Fun to see it again after 40 years.
wow!
was the director the same who did Midnight Oil's 'Blue Sky Mining' video?
This band should’ve been so much bigger
Blame it on the record label bosses. Rather than promote this as a single, they rushed them into the studio to record a followup album.

Beautifull....
For an unknown band they sure made a lot of videos in 1983 to 1984.
Columbia Records promoted them fairly heavily but mostly got traction with college radio.
Happy 300,000!!
This sounds like a Dropkick Murphy's song!
the bassist used to be Dropkick's manager.
Imagine Trump singing this song
this 80's song from up to now speaks the truth about china, socially and politically, geo political also...
Also done by The Turtles (from 1965 "It Ain't Me Babe" album).
never even heard of these guys, where was the air play in the 80s. really good stuff
They were in regular rotation on college radio playlists.
China the conquerer.
Red Rockes would greatest fan Club all time
I still love this song.
アルバムも買ったが、残念ながら、カッチョええのは、この曲だけやった……(泣)
Cool!!! xoxo The Clarences
Underrated Post Punk/New Wave tune!
"Not a bad video at all! "The Unforgiven - I Hear The Call" is a good western video too I think?"
"Wasn't that goofy guy with the gold tooth in a RAMONES video? "La La La La Chasing The Night" or sumthin' like that?"
No, it's the art director for the video. He sang in a band called Sexdog that RR used to open for when they were just starting out.
Still as awesome as when it was 1st on MTV back when MTV was music and owned music and reverberated it to the stars before it became the limp dick conglomeration it collapsed into
Damn I love China
Excellent song. Cool entertaining video.
Shades of The Byrds.
Great song, terrible clip.
