Do You Have Rizz? To have charisma is to have attractiveness and appeal, and this word has been the main description for someone's ability to charm, but recently, a new term has arisen as the go-to word, “rizz.” Rizz takes the “ris” in charisma, replaces the s, and adds two z’s. With its catchy and familiar name and popularity in the new generation, rizz is the best word to describe someone’s attractiveness and should replace its predecessor. For starters, what is rizz, and where did it come from? Best described in an article by CNN titled “What Does Rizz Mean?” “It can describe one’s self-assurance, wooing powers, or general coolness. It’s hard to define but immediately noticeable in practice” (CNN para 1). Rizz originated in 2021 by a RUclipsr/Twitch streamer named Kai Cenat. He used the word with his co-streamers in various ways, such as digital competitions judging each other's rizz on women. (CNN para 6). He even went on to host multiple live streams called “Rizz Academy” to help his Twitch chat obtain rizz (CNN para 8). Eventually, rizz made its way to TikTok, the popular social media platform, and the slang term skyrocketed in popularity, with TikTok users inventing another variant of the word “unspoken rizz,” meaning a type of rizz that is so intense, they don’t have to say a single word. Multiple terms and phrases have been developed from there, such as “W rizz, being rizzy and rizzler.” My friends and I are quite the “Rizzlers” at our school, and we often test each other’s rizz with completely absurd pick-up lines. Josh, my best friend, awoken the rizz within himself when he came up with the pick-up line: “I lost my number, so can I have yours?” All of us joke around with this word because it is not only funny, but we are all competitive and want to have the best rizz in the group. In brief, rizz is the ultimate description of someone’s charm and should be the new charisma. It is easy to understand and just as easy to implement into your life. Rizz is not something someone is born with; instead, it is developed over time and can be improved by constant deduction. So, here is the question: Do you have rizz? Congratulations, completing on Nightmare from the get go is absolutely no easy feat! That was some sweet gameplay, steady progress, continuous improvement at the combat loop, it's always satisfying to watch someone gitting gud at Eternal. The only thing that bugged me was that you never noticed that hooking onto the Marauder as well as shooting his shield (even from other Demons) is what actually makes him summon the dog 🙃 Should you ever play it again, be sure to try Ballista + Super Shotgun quick switching, it is one of the easiest of the advanced weapon tech, and at the same time also one of the most powerful ones (DPS wise), it will melt down the Marauder in no time, and if you manage to throw in 1 or 2 frag grenades too, it's an easy 2-cycle. Starting with the Ballista can also make stunning him easier, as the Ballista is hitscan, as opposed to the Super Shotgun which actually shoots projectiles (pellets), where the number of projectiles hitting him will determine the amount of damage and whether he gets stunned.
