@@DanteWilliams728 the m32 pre-amp is flatter vs SQ6 or 5. I use filters on my amps, so flat is my best option. Remember, the m32 price is 3k vs 6k. My choice would be the m32, but many will rather pick the SQ6 because of the newer design and technology

@@daveadu3563 no it means less processed sound. Midas costumer services went to crap, so I can’t even recommend anybody at this point. No parts available. So stay away for now

nope. is not going to give you a better/less sound. s16. they are identical, but each is built to work best on each. I have ran x32 with dl16 and no gain/decrease on quality.

midas pre amp sound a little better. But wouldn’t be noticeable with an x32. X32 it’s a little crispier and bright. I use my m32 in a studio and the x32 it’s a working horse. I use the SD16 since it’s easier to set and friendlier with p16 extended monitor mix

MidasM32 by far. Studio live 32 is good for studio only.

if you link two channels (faders) the console will pan it and will create a stereo pair that you can later pan it on the monitor itself. Tip, ring, sleeve are pins 1, 2 and 3. if they didnt teach me wrong. TRS is exactly what you need left, right and ground. I still own the x32, the m32 but now have a QL5 and a SQ7 they all come with TRS and you can use a pair of monitors with one or two headphones out. headphones are monitors too. I have don professional corporate show with an x32 and my ql5 and trust me the colors are the same and people can't distinguish between @48 or @44 so they are all the same to me. better pre amps? yeah, but still not recording studio quality so its good I think

I have the nekkst k5 and k8 paired with my full x32, they are both behringer and designed by KRK. It sounds really good for playback, but when you go to check recordings on a car or a cellphone, you will notice some mixing issues that can only be fixed with an additional mastering software or remixing tracks until you find a decent spot. Next was getting some flat and harsh monitors for mixing and keeping my KRK for playback and check final output. Now, I mix with Yamaha HS5 which is the harshest monitor to work with, but if you make it sound good, then you know you are doing it right. recommendations, just add a set of harsh monitors to mix and keep the KRK to enjoy the final results. the x32 is bright by default and the Kirk are rich @low end so it will sound good right off the bat, but not necesarily out the cards or the pre's. Midas its a little flatter. Enjoy the producer its a great mixer and has a few cards choices.

Digico no doubt, but completely a different ball game. I love the SSL and the yamaha ravage musicality is one of my top. I had the digico at school, but until today 0 hours of shows yet. I have converted madi to dante as a system engineer for shows, but haven't use it in front of house yet, but its the tour standard for shure. I have had both of my midas for years in cases and always covered. No encoders issues..but i have fixed many of them with encoders issues, mostly x32.

I hate touch screens on a mixing console. Almost waste of money.

Fair points but not everyone can get Digico money though.
