Did some googling, and I think you might be right - good catch! Even our Dad (self described fax machine expert) was a bit foggy on which tech was used before fax. The key differentiator was that the fax machine had the signature, and that's why the fax technology became popular. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! :)

@@StartupDifferent Yeah. It still gets me that doctors & lawyers still use faxes because of the manual signature (vs digital cryptographic signature), and some weird perceptions about the security around it. - T1

Thanks for the comment Joe. Yeah, it can be tough to strike a balance between giving too much and too little praise/support. Obviously we were more on the side of giving more than less - and that's not everyone's approach. But generally it worked pretty well (except for the occasional sideways flying employee review).
