Where's the Dice? | Dice Factory
Hi there! Let me tell you about a guy with an odd little contraption...
I'm really excited to bring you my original 3D-printed trick! This started from an idea several years ago and resulted in many, many prototypes. Along the way, the trick became slimmer and slicker. I also came across some discoveries making this trick much more flexible, letting you do transformation, appearing, disappearing, penetration, multiplication, monte, and prediction effects!
While a few tricks out there may appear similar, this one is unique with a purely mechanical gimmick--no magnets! It's self-working, and there's a routine for every skill level! The more sleights you know, though, the more you can further ...

I love it!! Very cool!! I purchased a couple of your tunnel of darkness replicas quite a while back. This is sweet!! Do you have to have to have a sleight of hand to perform it?
Hey Joe, long time, no hear! Glad you like it! I have a version of the first routine (the monte) that ends with the white die instantly duplicating into two, which lets you end clean without any sleight-of-hand. It's actually pretty versatile, so you can make up your own routines and pick-and-choose different effects

@Cyber Geometry Yup, I designed it and 3D printed it myself!
-I'm sad to do this, but I will need to delay sales again to try and use a different type of plastic so it will be more temperature-resistant. The current plastic I'm using, PLA, can start to deform at 50-60°C. I found out the other day that delivery trucks without AC can get as hot as 67°C! I'll be sure to follow up when it's ready- Update: It's for sale now with a more temperature-resistant plastic: PETG!

For sure, if they haven't noticed already, they will probably know about my version now. Ultimately, though, I want to make sure I stay on good terms with everyone and stay on the up-and-up. From working on another trick that remains unpublished, I've experienced firsthand what's it like to worry about something you've worked hard on being copied. That's why I made this decision: for both long-term stability and to save some of my sanity.

Thanks aplenty! Fusion 360 has a free version for personal, non-commercial use, but I'm starting to use freeCAD which is also free, but not as intuitive as fusion

It's the most amazing toy here in Philippines, it's only 6 pesos and amazing to do everyday. The only cursed from this is when you play this in school or else if you do it the teacher will grab it and never come back to you.
