To replace png t double-click on the header area of the Word document to enter header editing mode. Select the PNG Image: Once in the header, click on the PNG image to select it. Delete the Existing Image: Press Delete or right-click and choose Cut to remove the image. Insert the New PNG: Go to Insert > Pictures, and select the corrected PNG file from your computer. Adjust the Image: Resize or reposition the new image as needed to ensure it fits the layout correctly. Close the Header: Once the image is replaced and aligned, double-click outside the header area or click Close Header & Footer in the toolbar. This will update your letterhead with the corrected PNG background.

This ensures that the letterhead design integrates seamlessly with the text and doesn't show a white or colored background around the design. JPEG files do not support transparency, so if transparency is important, PNG is the preferred option.

export your letterhead design as a PDF instead of PNG from illustrator, create a new document in ms word and insert your PDF by GOING to Insert > Object> Text from File. you can edit text , design.
