Paul also recommended using discernment when eating, and said it would be better to never eat meat than to cause another Christian to stumble. but remember. its not a bad thing if you want to subject yourself to dietary laws, and its healthy. and remember don't over eat. Moderation is a good thing..

Okay so I am not Jewish but I am a Christian and I am in the process of sanctification and when I started reading scripture I felt like something's jumped out to me like some things were speaking directly to my heart to my soul. And it makes sense when it says being drafted into the Commonwealth of Israel I understand that cuz I feel like I am part of his family part of the chosen but I don't understand and what my question is Old testament the tassels talks about tying them to the four corners of your clothing so what I'm confused is about what do we follow and what do we leave behind in the Old testament, who chooses what is relevant now and what and what is left in the past?

Your call as a Christian to return to the dietary laws of the Pentateuch is is admirable, a giant step in the progress of mankind in its relationship with the Creator. However at 81 I a Jew living in Israel have harkened back to the pre-death era ordinance of Gen.1:29 i.e. veganism accompanied by Gen. 1:28 to rule over the animal kingdom but not to eat them. Animals for me are pets, part of the chain of life, and work animals. E.g. chickens are there for fertilizer only. My mindset is back to Eden, before temptation ftook over in the form of the snake, and the unclean abhorrent looking delicacies as octopus, lobster etc. Matthew was right to beseech the Creator not to lead us into temptation. I am not a Christian nor a Buddhist nor a Hindu nor Moslem but a Jewish eclectic who as our Ethics of the Fathers (Pirkei Avoth) states that a wise man learns from everybody, yoga and Kung Fu and even Ramadan type fasting are also commendable in furthering our beneficial relationship with the Creator who seeks a Messianic era for mankind as the Americans have it - E pluribus unum.

For weeks now I’ve been only eating some bread and fruit in the mornings with usually nothing for lunch, and a big dinner with fatty meat and vegetables. When I combine this with at least 8 hours of sleep and focusing on God and the blessings he’s given me instead of focusing on the negative, I feel more happy, energetic, far less prone to arguments with family, and I’m pretty sure I’m less likely to sin, including sin we don’t realize that we are doing like cursing at things/people.

Be ye not unequally yoked. First, I want to humble myself and say I am often corrected, not always right, and there are many folks of other races than myself who are way smarter than me, but there are passages in the Bible which have instructions where the Jews are not to intermarry the sons and daughters of other races. So, in this video, there is one of those snippets where an inter-racial relationship is thrown into the mix. I'm not sure this is appropriate.

Shalom I think that in order to make an intelligent conclusion of the commandments and specifically about whether women should wear zitzit or not, we must include and be aware of all the related verses; for example in Deutoronomy 22:5 it says that men and women should not wear the same clothing therefore your conclusion about women wearing them may present a transgression. I think that in your own video you show this transgression by showing a young couple both wearing the same pants and tzitzit It is just an observation for a deeper meditation to seek revelation Shalom Alechem

So… only food goes in your mouth, yet teach you kids to put toothpaste on a brush and put that in your mouth. What kid hasn’t eaten dirt, swallowed toothpaste, and a myriad of other things- how about the pacifier for the baby. Just sayin…

JRSUS DID NOT EAT A PLANT BASED DIET. HE ATE FISH. THAT IS DOCUMENTED IN THE BIBLE. HE ATE EGGS TOO. BUTTER.

Bottom line. Many people have a food weakness. They over love food. Just like some people over love alcohol or cigarettes or gambling etc. Therefore, such simple verses in Leviticus 11 are seen to grieve many and therefore all the excuses are made not to simply obey. Food is for sustenance and not meant to be an addiction (i just cannot stop these foods)

Those laws about clean and unclean foods were applied only to period of Exodus. It's not relevant post-Exodus.

I tend to agree with you but what about this verse in Acts. “In it were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air. Jesus Christ did not eat unclean foods he did not eat pigs he did not eat shellfish so that is what we should be doing is what Christ was doing and he was teaching the Torah

These are filling foods for someone who is busy, not going to the grocery store often, has done a 40 day water fast and doesn't have congested liver and kidneys
