I think this update was simultaneously the best and worst Fortnite update. On one hand, it introduced so many people to Miku. On the other hand, Fortnite has that magical property that it shares with CG5. Anything it touches, even if it does it well, becomes so cringe. A small(ish) fandom can't handle a gigantic wave of Fortnite players.
I've seen nothing but positivity from the vocaloid fandom, and the people who will look at fortnite and say "ew cringe" were already saying that about Miku, so nothings changed in that department
