This song is so cool, I imagine a Templar knight, long ago, walking along in the blindness of the sun, sun bleached dusty roads in Crete and Cyprus and England, and wondering, much like I do, at what lies beyond the horizon, not only literal but the horizon of the mind, of the event horizon, of the horizon of the curve of the observable universe, the horizon. I feel connected to this Templar through time, the long, lonely, distant days that stretch before you like an expanse, a calm peace that settles in, and I can only guess that Harold Budd was thinking something along those lines as well
