I remember when I was a teen and watched Zeitgeist. At that time I wasn't fully a Christian by choice like I am now, it was more of a cultural thing. But I was a lot into Egyptology and pagan myths and loved to read about ancient gods. One day I remember I was searching for conspiracy documentaries on youtube and found Zeitgeist. I watched like one third of the documentary and immediately found it suspicious since I knew about the story of Horus and he certainly didn't have disciples, let alone having 12 (LOL), I found it very amusing and stupid that they claimed Isis was a virgin since she had a husband named Orisis and I never found any parallel between Horus and Jesus while reading about the Egyptian myths. At that moment that I detected the first lie I couldn't tolerate it. I don't like being lied to in such a pretentious way, it makes me mad. Then I found out about Zeitgeist "moving forward" apparently it was a continuation. And there they talked about a new world order, a conscience awakening and stuff that really sounded like hippie beliefs and what the actual conspiracy theories warned about. There they also said meritocracy didn't exist and we're all condemned to be the same class as our family except if we deceive or do illegal things that we can change our class status. That was stupid to me because my family that were farmers and very poor during the 40's became upper middle class through hard work and saving money and investing in properties and stuff. I later found out not only these Zeitgeist documentaries are complete lies but they effectively come from new age beliefs that were promoted during the 60's and that come out of the theosophical movement within Bavarian illuminati, that freemasons were even afraid of them because of their occultism, they belived in astrology and the age of aquarius and stuff that really has not even astrological proof. And the Zeitgeist documentary is an exact reproduction of their beliefs..

My father is sick like amy was..and i have never met anyone like that until seeing this happen to her. It is terribly sad. My father who taught me to pray better than my mom..got in a car accident and years later along w heavy drugs, ecstacy, alcohol he started talking to voices he heard in his head. He has paranoid schizophrenia. He drank like amy did..would say he is god..mention joan of arc.. well he did eventually bring me to a celestial essence type store.. lets just say 20 yrs later i did end up getting reiki certified (never did anything with it like make money) but what a scam. I was dabling in this. I have been saved and two years ago had my son and got breast cancer.. i am cancer free and will be cured especially bc this saved my life for eternity. My dad its so sad bc he doesnt remember his life of eternity in heaven and its his sickness. But yeah this is all wild. My mom died of stage 4 breast cancer 6 years ago. I was stage 3b.

To all those who think the religion of Christianity is a "cult" too... If that's what you heard, then all I can say is your discernment is non-existent. Amy's "theology" was a cut n paste hodgepodge of new age ideas all thrown into a blender with psychoactive drugs and mixed together. Christianity... the belief in a creator God and the sacrifice of His son Jesus is not some whacky cult stuff. Not even close. There is ample proof for the existence of Jesus even outside the Bible. Contemporary historians of the day recorded him. (Watch the videos on my channel about that ) I'd like to see proof that any of these LHW cultists are willing to give up their lives for their belief in Amy. You don't understand how early church Christians paid for their faith with their lives.... often in gruesome ways, and never recanted what they had seen and experienced. The Bible is the absolute truth, not me. I believe the Bible is God's Word, as it has stood the test of time. There are over 2500 prophecies in the Bible and so far over 2,000 of them have come to pass to the letter. Compare that to Amy's whacky predictions. Did a galactic spaceship come pick her up? Did she "ascend" or did she wind up in a sleeping bag covered in glitter? Have ANY of the things she predicted since 2006 actually happened? Did Amy offer to die in anyone's place for their sins? Not one. I get it... you hate God and you hate the very notion of there being a God. You imagine parallels where none exist.

I mean with all the respect and kindness in the world, but you were probably left out of the production because your thoughts on religion and spirituality are really not that far off Amy's, again I say this with all the kindness in the world but you both kind of sound the same saying "I know the absolute truth, I'm right, you're wrong, I have all the truth from god" and they probably didn't want the backlash of having parallels drawn between Amy's cult and Christianity. So it was really for your own benefit tbh. Also disagree that the documentary portrayed the cult in a positive light. No one with two functioning braincells will watch this documentary and think it's a good thing. The only genuine criticism to be made about the documentary is that they didn't talk about the extent to the abuse that went on in the house as well as glossing over the bigoted and literal fascist ideas Amy and her cult shared. The wellness/new age to qanon literal neo na/zis pipeline is a huge problem on social media and considering that was Amy's target audience and how she made so much money they should've been more explicit about that. That's the only aspect in which the documentary portrayed the cult positively (perhaps not positively per se, but definitely not as bad as it actually was).

I just got done watching this. I totally agree with you. It definitely is dangerous. They are acting like everyone went home and the cult is not operating anymore which is a lie. It's still running. Hope and Aurora rebranded but it's still the same belief system. Then there's Jason's group. It's splintered but it's very much still going and these people are still in it. I was frustrated by that last episode too. They made them look like harmless, happy hippies but that could not be further from the truth. This cult is insidious.
