AGE OF AUTOMATION (vaporwave/electronica music mix)
My newest music mix is here! Admittedly, I've been working on this for a month, maybe slightly longer. Life has been very busy, but I've enjoyed working on this and love how it turned out.
I've been watching a lot of How It's Made lately, really relaxing show. And it inspired me to make my own mix of music that gives off that factory and production feel. Just watch and you'll see what I mean.
I cannot seem to find the music that they used in How It's Made's earlier seasons, but I think these songs really give off the same vibe. There was a niche that shared my interests in The Weather Channel music, and they're bound to be others that enjoy the How It's Made music. Man, I have weird interes...

@@michaelcarter1494 I loved the turn of the month and listening to the new music before school... even during Wake Up with Al, because I was usually early enough to get a few segments before... on purpose.
This is really going back, but does anyone remember when the weather channel would have the city names on tombstones for Halloween? They would change the spelling, e.g., Spokane, Washington would become “Spookane” abd Wichita was Witchata etc….so fun!
I would go to sleep to this music during the hard times when I couldn't sleep. ❤

why does that first song sound like a Mario Kart credits theme
The SNES had an audio chip that stored a library of electronic keyboard sounds, rather than generating them on the fly. Most likely the keyboard being used to make music was similar to the sounds stored SNES keyboard sounds. That and it was a similar smooth jazz style of music.

Put yourself in 1997 and you have your buddies over. You tell them you can't turn the Weather Channel off bc you are recording it. It wasn't understood until now, 2 1/2 decades later. I used to sit around w my buddy getting stoned and leaving The Weather Channel on just like this for like hours haha this and the preview channel!

in 99-2000 Id just listen to the weather channel all the time, i was around 13. I did this so much my parents would tease me saying it's my favorite channel.

I so wish you'd make more of these. The 1997 mix is my goto when I wanna zone out. You curate these really well.
Somehow this sounds MORE modern than the 1997 mix. At any rate, it has me flashing back to days playing on our 386 in the basement, with just a 12 inch TV/VCR combo to keep me company on rainy Saturdays because nothing but this and the Prevue Channel were on TV, lol.
