I did wonder if this might be a Cummins L10 powered unit but although the manufacturer is correct, the block is not. These are the sounds of a NT-855-R5 giving out approximately 285bhp per engine for a total output of 570bhp. It's a short clip, departing Kearsley towards Southport. Date: 28th Aug 2023

Keeping with the horror movie theme, if ever Hornby modelling a loco makes the full size one actually real, then the Class 08 Shunter named "Phantom" would be that loco. This indeed is the real phantom wandering onto the turntable. Also seen are: 2409 "King George" 0-6-0ST 1340 "Trojan" 0-4-0ST 4079 "Pendennis Castle" 4-6-0 Hunslet Shunter DL26 0-6-0 DM Dates: 29th April and 29th July 2023

Although I don't know quite how she gained access, "Trojan" managed runs on both railways on the site presumably to celebrate her latest overhaul. Another loco was also running, a much larger Large Prairie type no. 4144 which had been overhauled in 2015. GWR 0-4-0ST No. 1340 "Trojan" Class 2-6-2T Large Prairie 4144 Date: 3rd May 2021

Vehicle turnout wasn't enough or probably anticipated. Plenty of spaces were available for more buses.
There is even a single decker version of the Routemaster
I bet all though Routemasters haven’t been together since they all got withdrawn from passenger service. The Routemaster truly is the most preserved bus.

is that Gardner Turbo Engine?
Would be an interesting variation if this is the case. Some early ones had the Rolls Royce engine, not fuel efficient by any stretch but presumably, massive power and torque. I would guess by the performance, she was a bog standard, non turbo charged version. I still have a few recordings I never uploaded, just need some pics to make them relevant.
These C - OCN examples when with Go North East were great with the loud exhaust you could here them approaching from some distance compared to the A - BCN examples which most of them were refurbished like the West Midland types.

This was new to East Kent, it'll have the gutsy Cummins L10 engine. Its quite a distinctive snarl compared to the clatter of a Gardner. I prefer the latter though. And anything is good with a Voith 'box in it.
I used to ride this home from school in the early 90s when East Kent had it

It's the hub reduction axle that gives it it's unique sound over other Cummins L10/Voith combinations. The Daf DB250 has the same axle and sounds similar
