...yeah man...crazy altitude restrictions now. I have a Hubsan 109 that's a 501S with no gps...ans a crazy awesome transmitter the H2000...I would love to do a true altitude and range test with it.

awesome anyone else find a delayed reaction from the transmitter at high altitude? i often lose control of the drone,with a almost 5 second delay from the transmitter to the drone, only at altitude but not at distance, very strange..

Wow, amazing performance, even if this something that is unadvisable due to aircraft regulations, and the possibility that the drone could fall out of the sky uncontrolled (battery dead) and damage property or hurt people. I'd say go for it if you're way out in the middle of nowhere, but otherwise stick to the rational limits!

It's kind of stupid elnabling rth at that altitude. Just turn of the engines and when it comes 100m above the ground turn them on so it can stablilize itself.

You know that the maximum altitude FAA specifies for drones is 100m right?

I believe the gentleman who commented earlier was correct. That does not appear to be 700m altitude, more like 250m or the (820ft equivalent) The ascent time is more or less the same on my 501s if take it to maximum height.
