Last night I was telling a friend that I am in the process of going through 50 years of journals, getting ready to dispose of them before I die because I don't want my kids to have to deal with them, and she said, "that's called Swedish Death Cleaning!" And lo and behold, look what popped up on my feed! LOL it was a pleasure to hear your teaching on the Sermon on the Mount and where our treasures lie. I just taught on this passage in my ladies Bible study. I was blessed to vegin downsizing 5 years ago when I moved out of a 3 bedroom house to share a house with a friend from church. She needed help with the mortgage, and I needed cheaper housing, so it worked out. Clutter still creeps in, but it unsettles me now, so purges happen. I really want the peace that comes from a clutter-free environment, so I am able and willing to connect with the Lord. Thanks for spreading the good news!

I think you miss something if you approach everyone as believer/ unbeliever. Take belief in anything, whether it's Jesus/ God or Santa Claus, it's a taught behavior. Unbeliever creates a context as if belief is inherent. Another issue, what's the difference between believing in Jesus versus believing in the Bible? There are many who want the Bible to be literal, yet it isn't possible. Anyway, I accept that people have their belief. Just don't use that belief to force another's hand. Love is love, and it's does not require a higher power. My tattoo would be: though shall not bear false witness
