This was really helpful. My son is almost the exact same size. Helped us make the right decisions. Appreciated your helmet video too. Let your son do the whole video next time, he was doing well!
I appreciate your help. I am looking to buy for my son.
Great video Thanks
We’re the both youth mediums I wanna see before I buy
I think the fly is better
Jesus is king
I like the fly
I hate my parents because my dad wont buy me these shoulder pads and he justs likes the normal cheap ones
Be grateful you even playin
What size do you think for a 4'8" 70 pound guy?
Damn. Probably youth small
just curious do you have the flyte 2 ? there is no review on you tube on it
What pads should I get I’m a qb four foot ten 85 pounds?
My son kept the Flytes in size Medium. He’s about 5 feet and 85 pounds. He plays QB and LB. He decided on those because they a bit lower profile.
Great comparison video and super helpful for folks who want to better understand pro's and cons of the two. My son is 10 and a QB. He tried on both pads and preferred the Flytes lower profile and said it was easier to throw. We have used for two seasons already (size medium) and probably will again next season. For reference he is 5 foot and 92lbs.
My son is 4'9 87 pounds went with a small for spring season then will switch to medium fall season
I noticed the neck line is very high on my son. I think I’m going to return. Did you guys have that issue?
I have the fly I got them for Christmas
great video thanks
kids gonna be slaying cheerleaders left and right in hs
Fuckin weird dude
what pads should i get at 5’8 130 wr/cb

Which one of the 2 should I get as a linebacker
Flyte the pads are more protective
@@playboii.d3318 how good are they for shoulder contact? The shoulder pads look a bit small
@@pineconeidiot8046they are good for shoulder and ac joint protection
I’m a 6 ft 125 pound receiver and I’m extremely skinny. I wonder wich would be better for me or should I get a small velocity 2
i would say flyte
GET THE SMALLEST U CAN SO U CAN MOVE AROUND MORE
What did you end up getting?

You should do a givaway of these pads!!! That would be epic

NUH UH
After reviewing have you changed your mind on a pad
Thank you great video I literally no lie bought both pair in two different size so 4 shoulder pads in all lol I wish I found this video first
The flyte are doing the job
Yeah the only reason I did not buy the fly’s is because my helmet kept on hitting my shoulder pads so as a quarter back it was very annoying so I chose the flyte.
Thanks for your input. I’m curious… How did the Flyte straps hold up without having the metal rings where it buckles?
@@NDShack23 well I’ve only had them for a bout a 2 years but they have held up really nice no issues But the metal belt on the fly seems a bit higher quality, but i am getting another pair of flyte for next year because I love them so much and I have to move up a size.
@KeeblerCookies well I’m 13 and 5’4 and 112 pounds I got a medium
@@Braxjqb where did you buy them from ? My season startin and I really need to know
@@rocboyz3780 I bought mine from academy, you can also buy them from Dicks
