Five of the hardest IN GAME tackles Ive ever seen from my couch and this was ONE Other 4 - Super Bowl 32 Steve Atwater hit - Kam Chancellor on Davis - Sheldon vs Reggie Bush - Burfict on AB * I would put Ryan Clark destroying McGahee up here too (as well as Wes Welker)
Ref should have thrown a flag at the quarterback for trying to get his receiver killed. He knew better than to throw that in front of Ray. Everyone knew.
No easy throws over the middle back then. Especially with guys like Ray, Urlacher, Patrick Willis- when MLBs could actually hurt people without getting flagged. And sadly, even though its a perfectly legal hit, it would still be flagged in today's NFL just based on sheer impact alone. Well, maybe, 50% chance and it depends on what the refs wanna do with the game.
That's a penalty is todays NFL for launching. Sad but true. That's why I don't watch that bs any more. Next they'll have them in pink slippers and rainbow outfits
😊😊😊 I love it!! Every Madden game I buy I always create my character. And I play MLB every time all the time. This is my favorite position inspired by the great Ray Lewis.
Oh I remember this hit. The very next play Keller couldn't count to 10 and went out of bounds after like 3 yards when he was easily able to make a first down.
I remember this was freshman year of college for me. Me and my roommate went to the bar and grill a few minute from campus. Literally the Whole restaurant shouted DAAAAMN!
You might like to watch it but u don’t wanna get hit with it or if you ever did I bet you’d think different. NFL don’t want people getting head injuries cuz some guy thinks it’s cool to hit u unconscious
@@BagavanSmokey one season ok lol.. you definitely didn’t watch LOB or the Niners at that time for that matter..today is soft I’ll agree with you there
Can’t believe they call this an illegal hit on defenseless player now 😢😢😢 miss it. The 2000’s football was the most brutal of any era even with those shit helmets and would still get up easily. 😂
Lighting players up over da middle of the field for 15yrs 😂💪🏽🤝🏽🐐🐐🐐🐐😤😤😤
Master of disaster 🌪️🌪️🌪️
This is cool because Dustin Keller went to my school #LJ4L
I think he shit himself if you know that reference u a legend
Master of Disaster was a great call
The quarter back most of hated him.

Dats a nice list ifwi 💯💯💯
100% on the QB. That's tough
The QB is an accessory to murder. Career ending smash, right there
Ray Lewis the killer
2010: perfectly Clean hit! 2024: he needs to get injected and fined for targeting! The game changed that much
QBs be out here crying about getting touched but then setup their on people for hits like this 😂
10-9? talk about the defense winning the game for you
God I wish Travis Kelce could’ve met this guy on the field

smh
That quarterback is what we call a blue falcon in the Army
Literally aired the ball out to him knowing that he was lurking. True Blue Falcon Smh 🤦🏽♂️
That why dude was a terrible quarterback
Absolute beast, don't throw the ball in the middle of the field is something the NFL doesn't have today due to bs penalties
Film Study.. He knew what was coming for sure!!!😂😂😂
Dag I kind of miss Gruden as a broadcaster.
This would draw a flag today 😢
Would have been ejected and fined today lol
Ray still can't find that fur coat.
could see his tooth come flying out

That would not fly because the NFL is soft now
Rule 1: Don’t throw middle against Ray Lewis!
Your QB hated you and wanted you dead if he thew down the middle vs the Ravens
That’s what 99 hit power looks like in real life.
when football was football. all sports are soft as hell now

And this is why Brady Said he didn't throw over the middle when he played ray
mad cleean . ray different .
I remember he ran out of bounds instead of the first down after that!!😂😂😂
Literally a 15 yarder today for impeding the offense.
Jon Gruden: “See if you can hear this”
never seen a ref so in the way
I remember this was freshman year of college for me. Me and my roommate went to the bar and grill a few minute from campus. Literally the Whole restaurant shouted DAAAAMN!
This is the best hit I've ever seen. The precision and technique is insanely fast and effective. Textbook.
The quarterback must have really hated that guy lol
This is why you fell in love with football as a kid. Guys like Ray still exist but the NFL will never allow someone to play like him ever again.

Until there was Kam Chancellor
@@sdizzypfor like one season but that was still not far away from ray lewis’ retirement. NFL is soft these days. Same as most sports.

@@sdizzyp Okay maybe like two seasons at most but richard sherman started to decline snd earl thomas old man started lack in too
Button Down when you play against 52

Sanchez leaving his TE out to dry
Ray Lewis was a TECHNICIAN 👨🏾🔧 when it came to tackles.
The hit wasn’t the only scary part… Man y’all saw the way Ray Lewis landed on that hit? Dude looked like he was playing Dustin like guitar
MASTER OF DISASTER
The QB aught to get his a** whipped for setting his TE up through the middle like that 😂😂
