In my short time testing him out, he just never had any impact during the games, a 5000 power can be pretty easy to ignore and I don't want him to swing into life. He kind of felt like Kikunojou to me, but maybe I just need to keep practicing with Hawkins. I'll make an update a little bit further into OP10 and thank you!

ST05-002 Ain fulfills the same purpose as Mr.2 but obviously much weaker (no counter and don comes in rested). If you want a counter card that ramps you can use ST10 Jean bart, but it's slower (5 don vs 4 don) or ST04 Basil Hawkins but he doesn't have a good stat line. and for non-character ramp, there is lead performer disaster. In the end, there is a reason Mr.2 is so expensive (he's darn good), so if you aren't playing at the tip top of competitive, it's okay to make some concessions and use weaker cards

I forgot what rp luffy does but Charlotte katakuri with new gate in the back would be crazy 11 life and recovery gimmicks

Combo that with katakuri and you can have a wooping 11 life to look at

If you and your friends don't like the 70 cards, feel free to change it up! This is just a casual format after all. In your situation, I would run blue doffy with marco, to set up the top of my deck every other turn. In the future, as more seven warlords come out, itll be more consistent and maybe you can change back to 70 singleton!

oh and 13) the game maxes at 11 don now, so new combos are possible. For ex, Moria can use leader effect + 8c Moria in the same turn

Wow thank for your your impressions! Let me reply to some of them: 1-Yes, I talked about this with my friend after the games, but I think its okay for some leaders to be a little bit stronger than others. If Alliance ends up becoming popular and everyone is running RP Luffy, maybe we will have to ban it or something, but especially in multiplayer games, people can do threat assessment and hit the RP Luffy if need be. 2-It's still 2 don per turn, only on the first turn does everyone do 1 don (like going first in a normal game would be). This means everyone runs the "going second" curve of 2-4-6-8-10 and 11 (because of the backup leader). 4- I chose this method simply because it matches to how turns and drawing go in Commander. Being a singleton format, being behind just because you went first just doesn't seem fun (and Alliance is casual format). 5- Yes, anything that effects don can affect the backup leader, so like restanding or attaching rested don effects become stronger in Alliance. 7-Yes it can be returned like a normal don, but if it is in the DON deck and you have a chance to play DON (effects or DON phase) it should always be played first. 8-No, it loses all other card information other than the three special abilities (don, +2000 attached, +2000 counter) 9- Yes, yellow will be stronger, but you will only see certain effects once per game because of singleton. 10- I actually got to play against Nami and I won. The singleton+70 is actually pretty hard to overcome, even when you pair with lucci who mills 2 for free every turn 11- Yeah pudding hurts, but its not going to be consistent (singleton), so in some games you might not even see her. In multiplayer, everyone can just hit the pudding player for playing her, but it can also draw some players cards if they are under 5 later in the game. As for the other cards, hand disruption is a viable strategy so I'm okay with it being a little strong than in normal play. 12- Yeah thats just a side effect of starting at higher life, so I think rush down decks will have to use some different strategies (like focusing on attaching the backup leader more often to utilize the +2000 power) 13- Thats what Im hoping for!

Both leaders need to be active so I don't think its possible. I'm assuming "restand a don" effects don't work on the backup leader. I agree 50-60 cards sounds better if its singleton

Hello! It sounds like a lot, but when actually building, (as long as you aren't doing 1 color), I had to make a few choices as to what cards to include and cut. If you just consider two colors, that is already only 35/200 cards from each color, and you should still add 2000 counters and blockers and generic good cards, so it does fill up quite fast. As the game gets older it will only become easier as well. As for two leader switches, if you have cards that restand DON, and you haven't attacked with your leader (or made them active again) then yeah you can switch twice or more in one turn. It only matters if both are active. Hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions!

They aren't bad, I just prefer having more cards that draw cards and gain life
