How did the VX40 perform? Looking at replacing the stock dunlop AT81 rear and MX33 front on my ‘24 TX300 when the rear goes. AT81 is pretty hard compound. The knobs do not twist like either of those tires.
@@MathewsGuitarWorks Have yet to put it on. A bud tried and didn’t like it. Nothing beats the VE33s Gekkota. The VX40 front is killer tho.
@@powerturbine6170 I’m going to start with 40 front and rear.
I will not eat for three weeks… I have to have these in pink and purple and white

Ok the bronze class looks like the typical riding of the area i might try bronze class next year.
It would be hella fun for sure
I was on your starting row!!!!
@dirtbike-diaries Nice! You have a good race?
Good job
I am thinking of running the 40B class Bronze next year. Liked your vid. I think I can hack this, not the gold loop for sure. About how long would you say the Bronze loop is mileage wise for a lap?
@Hendy711 I didn’t track it but we were told between 8-8.5 miles per lap. The Bronze loop wasn’t crazy technical but enough to get the arms and legs burning. I felt more hammered after a starvation ridge 24hr race than I did after 2 days of bronze, if that gives more perspective.
I tumbled off that rock in the chaos on Fridays race!!
@greylockadventures7025 It’s a pretty sick line choice
Good footage man, looked like a fun race.
@MrAshrr213 Thanks man. A lot of mistakes were made that will be corrected next year
Thanks for the vid, great riding. I'm curious did they say anything about you missing the turn at the 19:30 minute mark?
@maesonbecker1495 They did not. I know a lot of people missed it. I almost missed it twice.
I always take the harder line because it makes me better
What line did you start on?
@TylerN737s Day 1 was row 14, and Day 2 was row 10. You race this too?
@@powerturbine6170 I did, row 11 on race 1. Rear flat ended my day after two laps, row 23 day two.
Little Bro doing this this week. Looks brutal as always. Good luck to everyone.
Silver kings. Best HE in the USA.
I like the 33”s better. The 40”s for me made me feel like I had bad swing arm or wheel bearings in the super hard stuff. Idk. Like it was to soft. I broke a few knobs my first ride also.
They just came out with SG22 gortex enduro versions. BEST OF BOTH WORLDS! Waterproof with the SG22 technology.
@jacobmcvay123 very nice
I would think the goretex would just mean your feet get even more hot and sweaty, most of the time (unless you're always in cold, wet weather)
GTA SAN ANDREAS
I would have stalled & soaked my bike if I tried this lol
@soupysocksenduro she almost died at the deepest part
@@powerturbine6170 I'd say! great save though, when I play in water my boots come out sopping wet and full....hence my nickname lol
I wear Tech 7 enduro Dry Stars and they are awesome! I had Sidi Crossfire 2's before those and they were miserable so I never even considered SG12 being they are just an extention of Sidi.
You speak my language
What size were your Tech 7’s? Trying to figure out how the fitment is compared to the Gaerne’s
@whsl824 alpinestars size 13 is good, sg10 in 13 way to tight, bumped up to size 14 in SG22
Did you say kunt hair lol. Nice review, I'm after a pair but have a wide foot, no where local to try before I buy. Might just get the next size up like you suggest to be safe. Cheers
Awesome views! with lots of rock hoppin!
Hey, you want to go for a ride? We got endless miles of rocks mixed in with fields of boulders. Oh ya, and there's hungry grizzly bears. 🤣You guys ride some seriously intense terrain!! Fun to watch! 👍✌
@DirtZen it turned into an annual event! Had to! ✌️
Glad you guys had fun! Wish I could've joined!!!! Looks like some tough riding but all worth it for the scenery!
Gnarly, amazing. 👍
@utahdesertrider1806 She’s pretty sweet. Definitely talk to God a couple times on it
I feel ya
What does the wet ground have to do with these boots?
@aces928 nothing performance wise. Just kept wearing my Alpinestar 7 Drystar during the wet to keep my feet dry, and for trail work.
Thanks for the review. I just placed an order.
I use SG10 for 6 years, they are still in good shape all buckles works as new. But I want to try something new and looking for SG12 (which are more for pro riders and track oriented) and SG22 (they look more for everyday ride). Thanks for review.
Nice honest review -thanks for that!
Fair play bro I bought vented alpinestar tech 10 and their vents are rubbish as well just a gimmick.
Nice. Lover your reviews. Thanks dude
Do we know if these are as wide in the toe box as SG12?
Dunno. I’m a 13EEE. 13 in Alpinestars is perfect. 13 in SG10 was scrunched bad, couldn’t flatten out toes. Went with a 14 in SG22. The width is perfect, but there is about a 1/4” of extra length than needed.
@@powerturbine6170 interesting, thanks for the feedback. Been happy with my SG12s but they're finally worn out. Might have to try some Alpinestars
@@powerturbine6170 just watched your video love the way you talk Laymans😂 terms. Let’s call it.
😮😊❤❤❤❤
wooow love it
You and Jeff Slavens would be great friends. Both love to complain about anything and everything
Camron Wilson Does your husband ride orange bikes too or does he stand up to pee?
Love your demeanor, fucking great!
Thanks for sharing!
get some steg pegs, have them on my beta and get no arm pump
Great review, thank you! Im on a '17 RE that I bought new. S3 head, tight squish, Factory Fatty, short silencer, Lectron. I have to blend 110 fuel but it brawls like a diesel. I put $$ down on a '23 RE and am worried that ill be going backwards in the engine department.
You won’t be. She opens up after break in.
Rad trail!
I find my '22 300rr race edition with a NECJ rm250 needle has a much bigger hit than my '17 300 rr Race ever had. So much that I will ride in wet mode in tight woods and canyons. I moved my mode switch out to the bars with an IMS bracket since I switch it all the time while racing enduros and hare scrambles. What model are those Bud Racing Kyb clickers?
This trail looks like a blast! where is it located?
🤐
Entire 787 is made out of composite fiber, you're sub frame will be fine.
My riding skills counter your point
@@powerturbine6170 lol. I wasnjust thinking about tour post last night. Watched a local kid at raves last night crash a husqy 150 and got ran over and subframe snapped right at upper bolts... so moral of the story is don't use them as aa kicker.
😂 love the ending! You’ll love the Beta- especially if you’re coming off a KTM. 👍👍😎
I have a 17 rr300 did they give you more turning radius yet?
🤷♂️ dunno, never really thought about it and don’t pay much attention to those that make it an issue
Good review. What size front tire is that VE35?
Professionalpiddler 80/100
Good riding! The course looks so fun. Glad to hear the JBI Suspension setup is working well!
Put a leaner needle in the carb to wake that thing up. I felt the same way as to being too smooth and not enough snap. Swapped to a NECW needle and what a difference and improvement. I’ve heard the NOZJ and the necj is good options too depending on what elevation your at
