I grew up in the Drum Corps life and it was awesome!! Hello Super Bowl, have Drum Corps do the halftime shows and watch America respond!! Everyone would be amazed at the show ! 👍👍

I was sitting just a few rows behind you! I thought this show deserved better marks, but that's just me... It is always good to be home in Whitewater. Marched UWW from 2003-2007 on the Tuba line.
Small world lol. My girlfriend and I made the trip from Indiana, and we were not disappointed. This show definitely deserved more on the score sheet but I don’t get caught up with scores anymore
@@cjags1232 Agreed! Well I know I will be back to Whitewater just about every year because it's close for me as I'm based in Madison. Hopefully one of these days I'll make the return trip to Indianapolis for semis or finals. Haven't been since 2014.
@@PurpleLink33 tickets are insanely expensive this year. Finals tickets were $180 a piece for lower level on the 45. It’s ridiculous but I understand with where DCI is financially
Apparently my band director was the reason why they went from straight leg marching to bent leg marching
Well since Santa Clara took the season off, apparently a lot of their staff went over to phantom, which inspired the bent leg

This is drum and bugle corps. They’re made up of the finest musicians in the world. They consist of brass instruments, percussion instruments and color guard

I had seats just like these in Hattiesburg but on the other side and right in front of the front ensemble, I think I went deaf lol
I marched 1980 Spirit Atlanta and I remember Whitewater. Lots of huge mosquitos. We had to wear our entire uniform during warm up to keep them off! I remember the stadium as a huge place. Not sure if this is the same stadium. Doesn't look like it. Always loved the music of Phantom. I also remember Whitewater being one of the major shows where almost every top 12 corps was competing. Memories. Thanks for sharing.
Press box was pretty big but it was a typical Division 3 football stadium. Seat numbers were kinda confusing though
@@cjags1232 If my memory serves me correct, we were at the University of Wisconsin stadium. I may be wrong though. It was 43 years ago this summer. Seems like yesterday. Well, not yesterday, but you get the point.

I was at that game and I was in the 400s and it was just the best thing ever like that was just a once in a lifetime experience on how low they flew and how amazing and epic the roar of the engines vibrated the whole upper stadium and just shook my body to its core
We were in 114 and it was awesome
We were in section 203 in the corner by the bud zone. Couldn’t see em until they were over the scoreboard and it was unreal! Shook you to the core! YEA BABY!!!

michael touse As far as the DW12s, they're about the same. The cars before from about 2001-2011, these are much quieter
Corbin Buckley i thought the dw12 cars seemed quieter than the old dallara ir05 cars
