And i believe that kind of balance is best kept protected. Elon Musk and MrBeast as examples; both ‘workaholics’ going big and i heard both of them say “don’t do what i do, it’s insanity” Why they themselves manage to persist than? I believe (not sure, can’t watch inside their head) because their work equals purpose so their mind and body cooperate towards it. In the sense of releasing dopamine and signals of needing food or rest are aligned with this 1 purpose. Their whole system is adjusted towards maintaining the optimisation of the purpose. They themselves might feel they are out of balance and feel doing ‘insanity’, but i can imagine that comes from seeing the people around them. Many people have jobs that demand emotional sacrifice; making money to survive but doesn’t feel purposeful or of true value.
