Originally, this was meant for a conceptual fangame/album, but the project got canceled, so I'm now sharing this as a free stage theme. The theme here would likely be a vehicle-themed Robot Master, or maybe a fire or industrial one. Actually, this piece was made in Furnace as a test of a Mega Man base I whipped up. I'm also calling Mega Man NES-style "bustercore" now because it sounds way coole...

this chip sucks originally had an idea to add an AY-3-8910 and make it into a joke where somebody got a sound card and samples of the jealous co-workers, but that would require too much effort and the AY is too cool to associate with speaker trash

I hated the Mega Man DOS, but now I'm hyped to play the remake!
I’m going to be honest - I have no idea when this game is gonna be finished; I’m just the music guy lol.

Are you using an actual tracker for this, or a SoundFont? I know that you can get notes closer together on a real SNES using tricks like same-instrument channel-swapping with adequately-lengthed releases, but at the cost of musical-complexity; so I'm curious as to which workflow you utilised here.
Yeah, I’m using Furnacetracker for this. It can’t export to .spc yet but I’ve looked at the specifications and it’s an accurate SNES tracker. I’m all for authenticity!
@@retrokid104 Ah, FurnaceTracker! I knew that thing had great potential as soon as I first heard of it, however, I myself cannot use it, because of my weak eyesight. It also does not work with screen readers at all.
@@JadeJohnsonIndustriesthat’s unfortunate! You should take it up with tildearrow, the creator. He’d probably be down to add that functionality in a future update, especially if it allows more people to use his masterful program.
@@retrokid104 I don't think it would be worth it to them, because of the fact that retro-fitting accessibility into existing software is the ultimate pain in the neck. Microsoft did not make it easy for screen reader accessibility to be retrofitted into existing applications. It's okay though, because I can make music that sounds like the SNES using Beaterator for the PSP. By default, it does sound like the Super Nintendo out of the box, however you can modify the Attack, Decay, Sustain, and Release Envelopes, until the music sounds nigh cinematic, thanks to its eight channels of already octaphonic per-track polyphony, which allows for up to sixty-four sounds to play at once!
