Do mini car coolers / warmers actually work?
Просмотров 3432 месяца назад
It does seem too good to be true, that an item so small can keep our drinks cold for a long road trip. So I decided to test whether these mini coolers work, and I did this with the XTM Thermoelectric Cooler Warmer. After the experiment I came to the conclusion that this does meet a middle niche between a proper camping fridge freezer, and an esky. If you only need your drinks cooled for less th...

Its a small device that makes some big promises. Personally I think this tool is great for some people and useless to other people, as it really depends on how you are hoping to use this. It is great for spot cleans, and if you use it often it will prevent the need to do proper cleans. With that been said however, this is not a replacement for a normal vacuum cleaner. A lot of down votes on the original wd40
So how long do you wait to spray the silicone after you use wd40 on hinges to clean?
This was helpful thank you - I bought one of these today
Finally, someone who understands! Tactical bags = Best toddler bag. I was looking at these two products for the exact same reason as you, we even have the same idea about that dump pouch. Dirty toys and clothes, they're called a dump pouch for a reason! But please; If you're doing a comparison, don't forget to actually wear it and do a side-by-side. Ideally empty and full. Cheers!
Amazing, straight forward explanation of use video. Thank you! 👌
Thanks so much :)
Can you use silicone spray on headlight? To keep them clear?
It wont harm the headlight, but there are plenty of better options including protective substances that are specially designed to stick to the type of plastic that the headlight is made out of. Personally I have purchased UV protective film which I just put over my headlights.
based on the video I just used silicon spray on the serpentine belt adn all the pullies. lets see what happens.
I don't know much about serpentine belts, so I hope it works out. At the very least at least silicone spray will not eat away at the rubber in the belt. :)
@@suburbangardenshed Yeah for sure it wont damage the belt and not the pullies as well. The only thing now I think of it is I shold have cleaned everything before spraying as the spray must have got coated on the duirt.
The feed drives me nuts. Doesn’t matter how carefully I wind the line on it snaps and i have to take off the bump feeder and rethread the line.
Yer it is a bit frustrating.
Would this lawn mower be light enough to push for a small women ?
Yer its pretty easy to push, and lighter than any petrol mower
I have a not very often used goal zero 1250 which is about 8 years old. I plan on using it more often now. It works great. I want to now expand it to another battery 12v 100 ah AMG battery. What would you recommend I do? I wont be able to find a 8 year old battery. Should I buy a new AMG? You mentioned that both should be the same age? Thank you and great helpful video. Bless you
The issue with that plan is that the 2 batteries will always try to equalise with each other. So your new battery will constantly be feeding energy to the old battery. Or another way to think of it is that it will double the life of your current battery, but it's not cost effective as a portion of the new battery is instantly wasted. So 2 new batteries will probably be the most cost effective.
@@suburbangardenshed makes sense. thanks and have a great day Might end up getting a 3000
Overpanel, under battery.
No argument here :)
Very Good & Honest. No BullShit that's what you need, buy one if you have a normal lawn not a Jungle
You just paraphrased in a much better way than what I said. :)
thank you
No worries :)
Thank you. Perfectly answered my questions.
Glad I could help :)
Very informative, useful and well done video: thanks a lot Buddy! It answers all the questions I had. 👍
Glad it helped :)
Thanks for explaining everything I am grateful for your service
No worries, glad I could help
Yanno, I have to look this up every time I use this trimmer. Finally a fellow Aussie with the same model! Thank you! (for sending me back to the garden now lol.) Sooooo frustrating when tapping on the ground doesn't feed more line. Now I know why.
Your comment makes me so happy, thanks. Yer the Spool line is an awkward job! Even with it threaded properly I still found the ground tapping to be inconsistent but at least it gives us a fighting chance. :)
So helpful!!! Thank you
Glad I could help. I remember been a bit hesitant before buying this as well so I figured I could at least talk about the pros and cons from my purchase for others to reference.
Thank you 😁. My MX5 Roadster's drains got all clogged up and have left the footwell and trunk carpets so wet, and this video has helped me choose the wet/dry vac I need to do the job. It's annoying the battery is a separate purchase, though. BTW, do you think the blower function you describe could work to help dry out the carpets? Anyway, you've got yourself another subscriber. Thanks again!
Yer it is a bit frustrating with the battery, especially if you are already set up with another tool brand. Its funny as we have to commit to our tool brand pretty much on the purchase of our 1st tool haha. RE the blower working to dry the carpets, I reckon it will be very slow. It may just be easier to park out in the sun on a hot day with all the doors open.
Very helpful video.
I really appreciate that. :)
Hey mate, thanks for the review. How does the blower perform in vacuum mode? Is it powerful enough to suck up a bit of sand and dirt in the backyard? Does it mulch leaves effectively? What is the impeller made of-metal perhaps? How does it compare to its corded cousin?
I can't compare to other models sorry but I wasn't a big fan of its suction. I found it easier to blow tbe mess into a corner and then scoop it up. It gets big leaves but it's almost as much effort as picking up the leaf.
18650 is a standard Lithium battery size. You may want to edit that.
Cheers, good catch. Thanks for letting me know. I just cut that out. Thanks again.
THE BATTERY REVOLUTION TOOK PLACE MANY YEARS AGO BY PRODUCTS SUCH AS MAXWELL SUPERCAPS WITH full charge in 15 minutes and zero degradation covered by a lifetime warranty but not properLy reLeased to the pubLic yet the reaL enemy is the vampires you call {gvrnments } who dont want freedom to be an option people can count on the good news is they are on their way to jaiL as we speak and electric cars are about to have more range per charge than they know what to do with . on top of the option to use a flywheel based seLf charging device that fits in the trunk and siLentLy keeps the battery charged full time
Great video mate, really helpful and informative. Easy to watch and follow to, good man 💪
Thanks so much, I really appreciate that. :)
Because Philips sucks :)
Shirt and straight to the point ;)
Flatrate only for real small screws like in electric Connectors if you dont use Wagos otherwise hex or torx over Philips because they dont strip as easy from what i have expirienced
Cheers
Torx is very very common but maybe not in places where you see it often, it was originally made for the automotive industry as a screwhead that allows precise torque application because it grips onto the bit so tightly. It was patented for quite a while, but is basically everywhere now (at least in Europe and America).
I didn't know that. Cheers:)
Phillips head screws are terrible. Easy to strip and slip. The only head worse than Phillips is flat head/standard
No argument. There are just cost savings
Loving all the philps head hate lmao. It truly is the worst they are just cheap
Agreed :)
Torx are very common in Europe
I did not know that, cheers :)
Yeah, pretty much everyone uses torx for everything if they can
there is honestly no worse bit than philips, the japanese even made JIS which is basically just superior philips
Yer I think it's just cheap (which makes it so common)
There ist still slot screws… Sadly
@@MrPunker0007they at least have a purpose; esthetics, and allowing for improvised tools to work. Phillips should only be on drywall screws and nothing else
Philips head is rubbish. If you must have a cross head, Pisidriv is far better. Personally I prefer Torx for woodscrews and hex socket for machine screws. Robertson is usually what we get for picket screws and works very well
Yer they do strip or cam way more often than pretty much all other designs. I'm now learning how popular torx is outside of Australia from these comments aswell.
Thank you for the video, it was very helpful ☺️
Thanks I really appreciate that. :)
I feel like torx is more common than hex these days. At least for diy hardware stores. The screws are either philips(aka star) or hex. Both usually come with one or two bits per box of screws. I dont think I've seen hex screws in diy stores since the early 2000.
Interesting. If you don't mind me asking what country are you from? Hex is still around for flat pack furniture etc in Australia. But with that been said I haven't seen it in houses etc
@@suburbangardenshed Norway. Hex is around for flat pack here as well. Things you assemble pre cut. I'm thinking more in the direction of "from scratch" building where you buy some wood and a few boxes of screws.
Czech Republic (central Europe) has a lot of hex/imbus screws nowadays
Cuz robertson on top yooo
Your favourite aswell?
@@suburbangardenshed i've had too many phillips screw heads turn into a circle, its very nice to not have to worry about the bit jumping out if i drive it too fast, and just relying on the clutch on my drill
Thanks Dude
My pleasure! :)
Very helpful video! Thanks so much.
No worries, it was pretty fun making it.
Awesome work!
Thank you! Cheers!
great review, short to the point and all info I need to decide if it fits my needs.
Thanks so much, that was exactly what I was aiming for so you have just made me really happy :)
what about RP7?,
I haven't researched that one in detail but from what I know it is a solvent and it is better than wd40 in some ways (rust removal) but worse in others (degrades plastics quicker)
Never, Ever, ever spray a lubricant into a lock barrel even the bullshit non stick ones will get covered in dust and build up.
Cheers for the tip. What would you recommend for locks?
Great review mate What type of grass is your long plush grass in your front yard . Cheers
Thanks I appreciate that. Re the grass I have to confess that I don't know sorry. I can make some guesses but I can't be 100% certain

I just got the Rush 24. I haven't used it much, but it's been amazing so far. The organization, combined with the larger size, makes it a dream for my use case-as a day pack in the military and as a photography bag in the civilian world.
Yer it's versatile. It can handle delicate electronics to rough heavy stuff. A good all purpose bag
Hace 8 años que tengo la rush 24 y es inmejorable, resiste todo y sigue impecable, soporta mucho peso , saludos desde Buenos Aires Argentina 🤗👍.
Greetings from Australia. Yer I've only had positive experiences with it aswell :)
The float thing in the middle of the filter is there to float up with the water and shut the motor off before it gets damaged.
Yer it's well designed:)
I bought one and it has no batteries or charger or even guidance on the leaflet where a battery would go!!!
Yer I noticed ozito are now selling many products as 'skin only' due to ppl already having heaps of their batteries. I'm hopingbthis video helped re where it goes etc and also in needing Chainsaw lube.
