The only cons to moving to the Jersey Shore is long commute if you work up north, and dealing with Shore traffic when trying to get home or drive around town during the summer. If you lived your whole life in North Jersey, you are used to all that traffic year round anyway.

On February 20, 1939, American Nazis gathered at Madison Square Garden for a mass rally for “true Americanism.”The Bund was founded in 1936 with a goal to empower German-American citizens to spread Nazi ideology in the United States and to create an American counterpart to the German Nazi Party. The culmination of the German American Bund’s work would be a February 20, 1939 rally at Madison Square Garden in Midtown Manhattan where 22,000 members gathered amidst a flurry of American and Nazi imagery.

Good video but doesn’t mention that there is the hallow or any of the Colombian restaurants etc. Like it or not, it definitely is apart of the town.

Although the cons were hard to get used to coming from Bergen county where everything is a few min away, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Totally worth it living in this beautiful town ! A word to the wise: Bring money.

you are really selling Horse Shoe Lake short. it is easily the best park of its kind in Morris County. it has everything and can host everything. name one park in Morris that has more than it has? Not Freedom in Randolph. it usually hosts the Morris County baseball championships there. Soccer Tournaments and Lacrosse Tournaments . swimming and carnivals and everything on the Island. walking and jogging and bicycling through out the park with hiking. now has turf fields there are cross country courses Roxbury XC Invitational. Roxbury plays many baseball games there besides everyone else. Soccer fields football fields, basketball courts and vollyball. everything is there. This is a top reason to move here.

Chester is a nice area

Too expensive, high taxes. Weather sucks, the people suck. Too crowded. And crowded with the wrong type of people.

I grew up in Brookside (from age 15) and have lived in the same house in Mendham Borough for the past 33 years (actually on West Main Street) and I found it interesting that you don't know the short cuts around the high school traffic in the morning and afternoon.

Grew up on Randolph in the 80's and 90's. We had a great school and an amazing football team. I loved growing up here, especially when my mom started letting me take the path into NYC. Walked my amazing dogs *(cody and jackson) A million times at Brundage....also caught about 4000 fish out of shongum!

Make sure that you hit Cape May. Longer drive, more expensive, but well worth it. No “trash” in Cape May.

I grew up in Murray Hill that is about 5 miles from from Morristown. As a family we went to the National Park with Ford Mansion and Jockey Hollow numerous times. The area is rich in colonial and Revolutionary War history. It is sad that this legacy of George Washington and this history of our country is either forgotten or shunned.

Wow ! Thank you for showing the brighter side of the Garden State. . I grew up in Edgewater, left in 1990. Rich history, famous people, Great little towns , cities , bourghs, townships everywhere. NJ Gets a bad reputation from most people un deserved. So thank you ❤.

I’m visiting while on a cross country road trip and what surprised me was encountering a number of homeless people who aren’t all there. One of them was shouting profanity at an empty pickup truck 😂 then proceeded to shout at an imaginary person. Felt like I was in California.

Right across the river from South Jersey on the PA side it has beautiful landscape with some elevation. Home prices in the PA suburbs seem to be more expensive for less space but south jersey still has horrible property taxes
