Dark light really was a good album. Definitely understand how their music isn’t for everyone and I do realize 99% of us heard of them from watching viva la bam but us who have stayed listening to them all these years must have liked something about them. Definitely is killer music to skate too. My older cousin introduced me to them the song “right here in these arms” and I was hooked and then shortly after he introduced me to the CKY tapes and Viva la bam. I’ll always be a fan of HIM and feel they were a talented group of guys and I’ve always been a huge ville valo fan,he’s doing a solo gig now.

I discovered HIM with a VHS copy of this concert from a German TV channel called VIVA, and I instantly became in love with the band. To me, this was their peak prime performance. They sounded just like Razorblade Romance, which to me is the purest of their albums. Raw, hard and soft, beautiful lyrics, best keyboard melodies, goth rock at its finest. The rest is not comparable.
