I liked him when he first arrived on the show but it went downhill very quickly

I hate Owen Hunt so much. His condescending attitude towards everybody, always acting like he knows best and him making decisions for everyone, it's ridiculous. I've only watched up to Season 10, but the way he acts, and also the fact that he is so firmly anti-choice disgusts me. I've disliked him since his debut, where he walked into the hospital, and disregarded all the doctors who actually worked there, and through his actions, it has manifested into full blown hate. There are so many scenarios in which he is godawful. • Season 10, when Avery is getting funding for his pro bono surgery, to remove the extensive facial scarring of a kindergarten teacher, he purposefully moves everyone’s surgeries, transfers the patient to Seattle Pres, and is incredibly rude to all the board members, because he’s not getting his funding right away, which they were going to discuss anyway. • The infamous scene in Season 8 (“you killed our baby”, which is bullshit, it’s a fetus under 12 weeks) • The aggressive sex he has with Cristina when he’s mad at her, even resulting in her getting burns on her ass • He cheats on Cristina and then twists the narrative to somehow make it her fault • Chokes Cristina, and says it’s PTSD, sure that’s understandable, but then refuses to get help for it • Almost every two episodes, him making decisions for other people. A notable example being Teddy, who received the medical job in the army. I get he wanted her to leave for better opportunities, but that’s not his decision to make, that’s hers. Firing her was not the way to go. I’m sure there are others that I’ve missed, and as I watch further, there will be plenty to add, but I just hate him.

One of the main reasons I don’t like Owen is not because of him being toxic all the time but in s12 ep5 when Amelia is calling him perfect he talks about the plan crash and says he thought Cristina was dead and he was RELIEVED. What kind of bastard husband thinks that like wtf Owen. He then goes onto explain but rlly nothing at all justices that like wtf

This is SO amazing. I decided to subscribe. I love the choices you made throughout this.

Truth is, People wasn't made with Shonda Rhimes that She killed a very beloved character. It was the way she killed him and moved on whole serious very quickly ,just because She didn't like Patrick Dempsey in real life. That's just very unprofessional and very bad job with her profession. she should have left her differences on one side and could do a better job, even killing Derek in the series. She has done a very shitty job to end his 8-year character on very sudden and then there is very less grief in the whole series. He extent much more grief for Denny and tidy's husband and they both were one serial long characters but she showed proper grief and pain around their death. somehow she just cut off this character very poorly, just because she couldn't get along well with an actor. such an unprofessional and shitting job to be honest. But I guess power makes people crazy.
