That's actually my most wanted song, but I didn't know if he'd remember it, and likewise I didn't want him to think that I'd be shouting "Hey man, it didn't take you long to get here!" Or something hahaha

Yes, I have requested it several times. After LA night #1 I stayed after the show and asked him if he remembered it. He hummed and sang a line from it and then said “that one? no, but I could look it up”. I shouted it out the next night. I think I’ve called for it about four times over the years but have never gotten it out of him. But he’s played lots else for me so it’s ok 😂

@@devinrobertson5251 he doesn't always and I find it really awkward so I only stick around if someone has asked me to ask him a burning question lol. IDTYL is one of my favorites of the ones I've not heard live and I've called for it at least a half dozen times. Maybe one day he will satisfy me ;)

@@snowyherge1549Hiroshima was my favorite. I am biased that I preferred last night over Saturday because he played Mustard Seeds at my request. I have had such a wonderful time in Japan and am so grateful for this tour doing the hard work of deciding where and when to go. ❤

There’s so much I can say about last night… it was my favorite show of his I’ve seen. Much more intimate and he seemed to relax into it after his adrenaline got going with our brand new song.

@@Danny_Matsonone of the other eskimos bough me a 32bit recording device last night and it’s arriving at my hotel today. The sound quality will be a lot better so I’m planning to use that the rest of the tour. It’s a nice upgrade and he’s also going to do all of the post processing, all I have to do is go to the shows 🎉

Yes, first night

I am a sucker for this song, it’s one of my first favourites right alongside Delicate. I was in the second row and was blown away by his volume and power during this one and it was the only time he played it all tour. I really need to seek out a recording of the full Oakland show and listen to it start to finish.
