are most of your sketching from life? if so do you sketch fairly quickly before the stranger moves, or do you do it mostly from memory? your ink sketches are so inspiring, I've been really enjoying mimicking it :)

This paper is unlike any other surface. I've experimented wirh a lot of different media on it and you just can't work in the same way ss you can on other paper, its completely unique. I find some of the textures it can produce are fascinating but it can be really unpredictable so embracing the wildcard and just experimenting and playing with it is definitely the way to go. I really like your work on it for the record, i can feel your frustration in it, but theres something interesting about seeing that on the page.

I wish i could paint on midori 😔 they should make higher gsm paper
