It's better to represent yourself than these trash ass small town public defenders that could care less if you win or lose. Actually they want you to lose because they are on the same team with the DA. Their plan of action is to convince you into taking a plea deal by scaring you into thinking you have no chance at winning. It's a joke. And if it's a case like mine where there is no evidence or witnesses. Oh ya and the fact that I'm actually innocent. Every case is different though. Why pay thousands of dollars to these rip offs just for them to do what you can. And if by chance you were to win how stupid would they look for wasting time and resources on a weak case. Like I said every situation is different. You just have to have the confidence and knowledge. Research research, research and practice.

I agree to a degree of this question. One thing is if you're going to Superior court, I would get a lawyer because there's more papers that need to be written very adequately, but in Municipal court, you can do a lot byself yourself. But if you could get a public defender, do it and basically boss him around as such, to move get what you want court. Where that it obviously can help you. Now, if the public defender doesn't want to do what you say, you could always get another public defender just by asking the judge to do it or let the public defender to by saying he doesn't want to represent you the way you want to his full degree. Why I say this is because they are public defenders that actually either try to bamboozle and coerce with the prosecutor. Which is the worst thing to do to a person.

The individual must be singled out from all others; otherwise, anyone could be subject to arrest and trial without benefit of "wrong party" defense. Almost always, the means of identification is a person's proper name, BUT ANY MEANS OF IDENTIFICATION IS EQUALLY VALID IF SAID MEANS DIFFERENTIATES THE ACCUSED WITHOUT DOUBT.
