Liver Run video kit featurette
On 11 May, the guy who owned this car invited me and my dad to come and film. I presented and my dad acted as the cinematographer.
Bear in mind, this is only a demo featurette. The final one will be in finished film (if I can get it done, which may or may not be possible).
Enjoy!

"CRASH BANDICOOT": The Tae Min Kim Story
They were the stereotypical Met Police Traffic Cops. Whenever I've been tugged by them they always look like these two blokes. Their caps never seem to sit on their heads properly and their dress always looked the same. Ties not sitting straight and when they exit their vehicles their shirts always need to be tucked in especially at the back. The WPC's are the same....🤷🏻♂️
The amount of people driving, riding and just standing at the junctions who risked their lives for this one lady. Amazing driving skills too. The Old Bill in Traffic departments are amazing drivers.
Try that today. In 30mins, you'll lucky to reach the end of the M11 😀
Literally
Cool vid
Good to see this iconic clip again and in full, great car, driving & team work - and they helped save a woman’s life, terrific !
Back when you could listen in on the police with a scanner 👍🏻👍🏻
I WISH I WAS ON POLICE CAMERA ACTION
More video about this man 😢
6:23 it’s the A13 not A12
I managed to chat with the driver of the video car that night. The vehicle is C572 RCF, a BMW first registered in March 1986. The driver had stolen the BMW from his brother, and was picked up in Southall. The pursuit lasted one hour in total, crossing through four counties, Greater London (Met jurisdiction), Berkshire (Thames Valley jurisdiction), Surrey and Hampshire, before returning to Southall. The driver crashed because he'd taken the keys out of the ignition before the car came to a complete stop, causing the steering lock to activate. He was twice over the limit and only had one eye, having lost the other in a car accident in India. He received 4.5 years in prison at the Old Bailey. As bad as the accident looks, the stolen BMW was not a write-off, and is still about.
All I can is wow. I understand driving to a clock as a former Nat exp driver I drove all those roads in the east end although I used to favour the Wanstead flats to Stratford broadway to drop off then turn down passed bow flyover to billingsgate through the tunnel and finally down the embankment, but in all fairness to the lads here we only transported the public and Crabs from Cromer for some lab or restaurant, we couldn’t be more than 5hrs or crabs 🦀 wasted, seeing this brought back many happy memories of driving a route I enjoyed doing.
Three months for dangerous driving! A joke!
Traffic Police had 2 person crews, one to drive and the other to move the FCKIN CAMERA
The first chase is classic. Had this on tape years ago. I used to drive on the M25 back then. It’s amazing how quiet the roads were in the early 90s. The Uk had a lower population, less people means less cars.
Monday 10th July 2000
Much better with Graham Cole narrating rather than the tv program with mr smug Alistair Stewart.
Huge RESPECT I've watched this many times
1:25 Nice hair
13:25 it will be done with the best will in the world on our side
Watching this reminded me how much the new like road from Redbridge Roundabout was a blessing, It once took me three hours to get to Redbridge where now it takes 20 minutes on a very bad day. Plus irreverent on the Mile End road I see Ward Brothers which was my local car parts shop, no longer there. What a great bit of collaboration with the different police officers from other forces.
0:03 wonder how many takes that took to get the timing right. 😂
0:51 anyone see the little old lady watching from the pavement
Rover SD1 iconic UK police car
02:19 he’s side swiped a blue van, can you dispatch a divisional mobile, try and assist over, free the vehicle
02:03 turning left into Claremont Avenue, they’ve fallen off
01:25 we’re now heading back towards, Tes, Tescos and Bushey Roundabout
01:05 right pull over, pull over, right, give me, Oscar from ah five two nine
03:32 91MPH 😬😬😬
04:24 now approaching the fire station, going towards Mitcham Road
04:13 why does the copper make that noise???
03:24 these two are maniacs they’re not going to stop
The speed warnings are certainly no longer turned off as soon as possible. More like hours later.
LEGEND!!!
11:03 - 118mph
3:35. Turning right, turning right, into a? into A WALL! lol . Classic, ive been watching all these, and on a more serious note not sure if anyone's aware that Alistair Stewart aint been to well, (Vascular dementia) he's one of my favourt people on the planet. Thanks jack
I’m just taken back on how running from the police does not warrant any prison time over in the UK. Just a fine a couple points on their license. In the US, running from the police is an automatic felony charge that may warrant a prison sentence of at least 3-5 years minimum
Ah the good old continental police sirens from the 90s such as at 35:57. Reminds me of footage from other police shows from yesteryear such as Police Camera Action
Pls man
When police officers commanded respect! Fabulous teamwork!!
Slow police car
Unfortunately for Stewart he was convicted of drink driving and he had his driving ban of his own
I love this with alistair Stewart as host of this series
16:12 it was seconds later that the police managed to catch him and arrested him for reckless driving dangerous driving driving whilst disqualified and sentenced to 12 years in prison And when he does come out he will have to retake his driving test until he gets his license back
3:36 I can see that there was actually three vehicles that were overtaking on solid white lines the green rover the brown fiesta and the blue mondeo And all three were fined for driving without due care and attention and dangerous driving
I had one of those diadora jackets in 91, loved that jacket.
Good old Ford Transit, any thieves workhorse.
I appeared in one of the first 'Police camera action' videos. I got a suspended sentence of four years lol I didn't even know it until I borrowed my friends video tape. Those were the days!
Which clip?
@@jackwain367 my solicitor advised me to go 'no comment' lol
Wow!! How did you appear in one of first "Police, Camera, Action"?? I didn't even know that you was appeared in one of those TV shows
@@kingwilliamamponsah7473 I did. It was nothing special, but they would use anything back then to fill a program. I just swerved to avoid a car that clearly didn't mirror signal manoeuvre, just manoeuvre!

Brilliant driving. Having recently done my rospa advanced training, high speed police driving is unbelievable
Love Sunbury Cross ❤️
