If it’s a Spitfire I had the same model with the interchangeable ‘GT6’ style bolt on hard top as well as the soft top. I wish I’d kept it. It ended up in America painted ‘Candy Apple Red’ as opposed to my more demure ‘Old English White’.

I see you using metric sockets. Your car will be all SAE. It wasn't until the mid 70s when things went metric for you guys. The rot you have is very much like mine.

Everyone forgets the handbrake cable! Depending on how deep you end up going, you might want to consider welding in cross bracing to prevent the tub from deforming. Also check that cross member under the heel board. If you have to dig that deep you will want to put that tub back on the frame to use the frame as a jig.

I hope you braced the body between the door and crisscross because you will see body flex and won't get the doors to line back up when you remount the body latter. Trust me.
