Gear Review: Installing the Holosun EPS Carry on a Glock 48 | Fitment with Tier1 Concealed Elite
Does the Hackathorn rear sight extend beyond the end of the 48 MOS slide? (Beyond the Glocks back plate). I know Hackathorns fit perfectly on a standard slide but how did it fit on the MOS Slide?
@@hmack8937 it does protrude beyond the back by a short amount. As you mentioned, it’s because the rear sight channel is further to the rear of the slide on an MOS versus the non MOS slide.
Beretta over CZ all day!!!
Damn Shadow 2s don't come with the wide safety anymore in the box?
I see you have the orange front sight irons. Has the red dot worked out or do you wish you got green dot? I have same iron sights and deciding which color optic.
@@amendez457 I like the red. Not an issue at all. If so, you could easily swap out the front sight.
What is the ‘stand up and hold’ thing he did with the BCG? Seeing that it’s milled good? Don’t get it
@@Gwillis7 the gas o rings is what is being checked. It is nothing special. Just something I have learned over the years and do when I clean my bolts.
Push the back plate up, it's not fully engaged.
“Some people use Scissors, but I find it more fun and dangerous to use a pocket knife of course.” Lol😂
Bought mine off of Amazon for $23 should have waited but wanted a different EDC knife carry option - I like the size and cannot beat it is USA made for the price! Don't know about hunting lol but perfect for EDC!!!
It is optic ready when the firearm already have the holes drilled out for a plate to add a red dot. Just because the plate doesn’t come with the firearm doesn’t omit it from being optic ready.
I watched a video on that he put a red spot and he said he can't see the red spot through the sights but like you, I like the colors. I have two Berettas myself and I'm gonna buy one for my wife. Oh you can file down the sights if you want to see red spot.
LTT ALL DAY... You can contact LOK and get the palm swell grips for the LTT. I did. They will even put the logo on it.
@@bigmad3123 that is great to hear.
Working in law enforcement, my department issues us the Surfire. I had a suspect at gun point going nuts i almost shot. I also had another with a knife on the ground. I had the light pointed directly in his face, which would blind him and keep him back. Didn't allow him time to think, to charge at me. Since it showed how dependable it was, I'll spend the extra money on the Surfire. Doesn't eat the battery either which is great.
@@Green2015A also experience in the LEO world. I have used Streamlight with good success.
Looking for a factory rmr plate for shadow2 compact

Where'd you get the plate?

Looks sick but I would keep the same flat trigger on mine. To each their own I guess. Nice work regardless
Looks sick but I would keep the same flat trigger on mine. To each their own I guess. Nice work regardless
LOK is the clear winner here. Couple that with the superior handling of business relationships, LOK crushes the competition. I just bought the Vytal Kraken solid copper swells, with the Shipwreck finish. Check ‘em out on the Chester’s Hobbies channel. He has them on his DWX. Super nice.
@@jeffgee6319 I agree with you completely. It is an awesome grip and great to work with.
What do you think of the 6360rds compared to the 6354do? I was thinking that a 6360 could be turned into a 6390 if the sls was removed
@@80hd6 I have not removed the hood but I would figure it could be done. If you practice the draw for a few thousand rounds, defeating both is not an issue. If it was for duty or range, I would have both.
Dig that color
Will the Serpa for the regular Beretta 92 fit the Elite?
What is the piece closest to the hood with flat head and Allen screw for?
They finally added rear serrations! Great!
507comp
Got the same color holster
does the coating come off after long term use?
Please tell me how to remove the handguard, it is always very tight.
@@Ray-ok9cw to be honest, just have not taken mine off. I am no help right now for that.
Since you are a CZ Shadow 2 proud owner, maybe you would benefit from learning something many CZ Shadow 2 owners don’t know: ruclips.net/video/bwo5EVTg8HM/видео.htmlsi=JDl0YRV9l6lmg-A7
The red dot mount plate you purchased from CZ factory is the only good mount plate. I purchased so many American made for significantly higher price, but they all are wrongly designed and made. No exceptions! These two you are showing are OEM made from hardened steel by CZ and sold for only $50 ea. and as you also experienced they will arrive in 6-7 days from Czech Republic located in East Europe. The one shipped domestically might arrive a day or two sooner! Red dot plates should be made from hardened steel to withstand up against violent slide movement.
@@miroslavm2553 agree completely. All others imitate and don’t come close.
I can’t get this same upper for 845 should I get it or just spend 1080 for a geissele 14.5 upper
@@TheJoeml85 that’s tough. I don’t have any Geissele. I like my Aero and BCM. I hear good things about Geissele tho.
@@AtomicReport i was sold when they did a test where they shoot them mag after mag full auto until something happens to them the geissele went 906 rounds before the gas tube bent Daniel defense only last 662 rounds and the barrel blew up knight’s armament lasted 500 rounds and a big hole blew through the side of the barrel I was gonna use PayPal but the store that has the bcm upper for 845 doesn’t take PayPal so probably go with a geissele or wait until the cz bren 3 comes out!
@@TheJoeml85 the Bren 3 is gonna be amazing. That is on my list. I do think Knights is a bit over rated- not saying it isn’t good; I just believe I can buy a rifle for less that I would still be able to trust my life with. Geissele has def stepped up for a “duty” rifle.
@@TheJoeml85 and I would buy the upper directly from BCM. That is where I have found the best deal for it in the past.
@@AtomicReport yeah geissele has a great bcg to I wonder what the bren 3 is gonna cost I can’t find a price on it yet the 11.5 sig spear lt is sweet to i definitely want a piston rifle i almost bought a lwrc piston driven rifle it was on sale from 2800 to 1600 but I didn’t get it 🙈
Does the MOS 48 fit in your holster you have in the video?
@@bwin4570 if the holster was fit for 48 mos with rail, yes. My non railed holster for the first “gen” of the 48 is not compatible with the 48 mos.
What screws did you use, and where did you get them.
@@RichardLaptosky the ones from Aftermarket plate that I purchased. Look through the comments, I think another person posted another option.
Doesn't it come with a optic plate? Do I have to buy it separately?
@@SITTHICHAITV yes. That is why I call it optics capable because it is not actually ready for an optic without the plate(s) that need to be purchased separately.
What sights are those?
Stock sights
Yeah, these are the factory sights.
Try locking the Slide Plate in place before you attempt to illustrate the process. The Slide Stop Plate is not installed correctly.
What would you go with on the CZ shadow 2 compact? Thanks for posting!
I do not have a compact but it is on my list of “some day”. It would depend on what I was using it. I don’t doubt it is as amazing as the full size. Not much help but the answer is - yes.
Looks awesome good video thanks! Big fan of the Lok products and palm swells generally. Do you have massive paws or kinda regular? I have wide meaty hands, but not massive fingers so probably will try them anyway, but like to get opinions as well.
I do not have big hands. More like large. It fits like a glove; like handmade. I enjoy the feel and craftsmanship of the LOK grips.
Two great guns! The Shadow is my pick, but this is one of those instances where you can't make a bad choice.
I agree completely. Both are amazing. For a range Gun, the shadow 2 would be my pick. For carry, I think I would pick the LTT. Thank you for your input!
The Shadow is such an amazing gun, isn't it? I just picked one up over the weekend. I'm finding the same holster issue as you. Lots of "race" competition holsters but not a lot of duty-style with light combinations available. Dara Holsters has a level two holster that will fit your Shadow/light combo. I'm hoping they're open to making the same holster for the Shadow/Surefire combo, since I plan on running a Surefire on mine.
I've had both. A couple of things about the Surefire that you didn't mention... you can get the momentary beam by pushing forward on the switch, from either side, making it fully ambidextrous. It also has a better waterproof rating than the Streamlight. And while the Surefire is longer, it's a little thinner on the profile, making the Streamlight shorter but a tad fatter. I had them both mounted to an AR. Of the two, I prefer the Surefire. I find the whole switch control feels a little more robust, and I prefer the ambidextrous operation knowing that it'll switch on no matter what side I end up flipping. With the Streamlight I found myself having to think about which way I needed to flip the switch to activate it. I'm sure if you're used to using it then it's probably less of an issue, but it bothered me. I know a lot of people use the Streamlight and it has a good reputation for being dependable. And i can certainly see how the price would play a part in someone's decision. The Streamlight is a great value and a solid option. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one, but if given the choice between the two, and more importantly if the price wasn't a factor, I'd personally go with the Surefire. With that said, my pocket carry light is a Streamlight (ProTac 1L)
I used streamlights almost exclusively, now. At this point, I have no reason to change. Like you said, preference. I like the buttons more on the TLR-1 then the Surefire. Thank you for your comment and sharing your experience!
Awesome wish id seen this before buying my silencer. But i think i made a good choice. Thanks for the video
Thank you for your comment. Glad the vid helped.
Man this is a toss up for me but I've always been a huge fan of Berettas. Especially the Langdon's with it's NP3 coated parts, optics system, and trigger job. Also a fanatic of CZ's line up especially their P10s, P07s, SP-01s, and of course their Bren 2.
Bren 2 for the win! Bren 3 now in the works??! Drooling.
@@AtomicReport Dayum Bren 3? Can't hardly wait.
If you like, I get my holsters made custom at "craft holters." Note: I'm a fan of leather
LTT Beretta all day but the CZ is a great gun too!
Nice vid! Is that the medium or large AMBI charging handle?
I believe it is the large one- per my order.
I love Berettas but honestly they are shit with one exception the Wilson Combat Brigadier Tactical.. it’s awesome.. oh and of course the Taran Tactical
👉🇺🇾💨
Hell yeah, nice piece! I just got my plate from them as well. Very reasonable shipping time, especially considering how far it had to come..🤙
Thank you. I agree, seriously fast shipping!
Thanks for the info… have olights but thought I would venture into different lights.. it basically comes down to prices… tlr1 hl is 139ish on sale and I found x300 u and t for 225… might spend the extra for the x300….
I personally really like the streamlights and use them on multiple applications. I also like the switches more on TLR-1HL vs the X300.
You can make it DA/SA by switching or modifying the straight trigger & replacing the hammer.
Having trouble getting the same light on mine
What is causing the issue? There are pieces to change out for a specific rail design from Glock to 1911 that come with the light. You could try one that fits the rail cutout better.
