Ron English is not the guy. The defense is worse than when Satterfield was here. Tyler is talented, but he won't take risks to extend plays out of fear he can get hurt. Throws the ball away prematurely or just falls on the ground instead of trying to escape. Let Pierce Clarkson play at this point. The season is scrapped. Good podcast, fellas. Enjoyed it. But disappointed with the Canes “should be 0-2 in conference” thing. C’mon don’t be lazy and parrot the media narratives. Sure VT was close but the right call was made. But setting that aside, **Miami still had all 3 timeouts** v. Cal during the targeting review. That’s a credit to the coaches but, more importantly, means **the game wouldn’t have been over if the call goes the other way**. In other words, it’s intellectually dishonest to say the refs bailed out Miami…that call didn’t make or break anything. The obvious second half trend was Miami shutting down Cal’s offense and scoring at will. And the go-ahead Miami drive was appx 95 yards. So even if Cal gets that call it’s likely same thing happens…Miami gets a stop, gets the ball back, and scores.

Our O-line transfers aren’t as good as I expected. Jonathan Mendoza has an NFL body without the talent. He’s got to be our most penalized lineman thus far plus he gets beat by average D-linemen. His hand and foot work has to improve or we’re gonna barely be bowl eligible

Shough had his worst game this year not horrible. He was a little behind the receivers but mostly still catchable. He had a horrible misread that almost got AHB killed with two guys wide open a little deeper which would have been first downs if completed. He had enough time to make the read and pass instead of the checkdown. We were better but still not up to expectations. ACC officiating makes games almost unwatchable. Only game that Ive been truly satisfied this year was against Austin Peay. Until proven otherwise it appears this team is not very good even though they had the potential to be great. Hoping they wake up and put it together but with half the season over it seems unlikely.

The Pinstripe bowl is still in play!!! Thank God they finally are getting Jamari Johnson in the mix. I think he’s a super star. Need to scheme up more stuff for him!

Louisville will struggle to go bowling this year, simply because you don't have the little p*ssy schedule you had last year which included (along with the weakest schedule in ACC history) only having to play 3...YES, 3 away games. Good luck trying to bowl.
