One of the few true rules in life is "never trust a trailer." Usually that's a warning against thinking a movie is going to be awesome because the marketing team managed to mine 90 good seconds from a 90 minute movie for the trailer. In this case, however, I hope it's the other way around. Maybe there's a good movie waiting to be seen, but the people who cut the trailer screwed up by trying to make it look and feel like every other generic horror flick of the last ten years.

Got a bunch of Aussie queers together to watch this last night, what a riot. We laughed, we screamed, we cried, we sat in shocked silence. Very camp, OTT, and so so gay. Loved it, can't wait for the Christmas movie coming out later this year.

Normally I see "uncorked entertainment" and it's an automatic no from me. This actually looks good though

This gets even more unsettling when you dig deeper and realize that this was never meant to be a film at all. Originally, the family was just filming normal stuff after buying a house ... until things started happening, then they found the abandoned village and unsettling things began happening to everyone OFF camera.

Casper Van Dien kind of looks like Bull from Night Court in this film.

Saw this at a film festival in Huntsville Alabama and it was super rad!

Someone needs to let these filmmakers know that less is more with horror
