The same happens with dungeon synth. The individual artists channels are way less frequented than the collectioners, who expose the stuff. To the point the creators are probably asking to be in those collectioner's channels, to get exposure. . I have been listening to eletroswing on xefox music and then going into the creator's channels to see more of their work, and at least give the likes on the songs I listened. It has been an amazing trip.
