Is Anime Getting TOO Popular?
I've watched anime grow throughout my life, into this enormous industry with tons of viewers. While anime becoming more well-known has it's positives, I feel that some negatives have definitely come from it as well.

JoBros, the True Charm of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Просмотров 134 тыс.4 месяца назад
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is widely known for its main family, the Joestars. However, to me, the essence of the show comes from the amazing variety of side characters known as Jobros. They add so much to the story, and the series just wouldn't be the same without them. So, I decided to share which Jobros I like and dislike, and who my favorites are. My First Time EVER Reading Manga
Просмотров 1,6 тыс.Год назад
This is the most effort I've ever put into a single video. I know it's nothing crazy and I still have a long ways to go. But I've been really enjoying the process of learning new ways to edit and want to continue pushing myself. Enjoy (: I'm getting kind of bored of watching LAME anime, so I've started to read manga. In this video I talk about which stories I've read so far and explain them a b...

Top 10 Anime Recommendations for Starting

After seeing people still recommend Dragon Ball Z, Naruto or One Piece to new people trying to get into anime. I had to make this video. The times have definitely changed and these older shows just don't hold up in terms of getting new people into the medium. So I asked a couple of my friends and myself, which anime truly are the best for beginners. If you don't agree or have any of your own su...
The Anime That Shocked The World

Oshi No Ko is one of the best first episodes of anime I think I have ever seen. Now is that fair since it's the length of a movie? Who cares! I went into this show fully blind, only knowing of the "unique" plot it had. But what an amazing story that is told and I can't recommend this anime enough. At least give the first episode a chance :) As always, thank you for watching :) If you enjoyed th...

Death Note's Sequel Ended Terribly

So I've recently read the sequel to Death Note, A-Kira Story. It's a single chapter with a little continuation on the story, but more of a different take on how someone would use the Death Note. It's a short and interesting story following Minoru Tanaka, that starts off great and ends in quite a rough way. I find the lack of Polnareff on the thumbnail disturbing.
the reason i like it is because its not a stereotypical weird ass kawai hentai anime its more bearable to watch as i dont really like anime all too much even though jojo is still very weird but theres just something in it that makes it better than any other anime
didnt include stroheim, therefore dislike
no
The climber is so gas
Criminal to not put polnareff
Dokkan battle osts
I like part 3 a lot BECAUSE it's so long and their unique characters were so fun to watch. It really felt like a bizzare adventure.
To answer your question: it depends on the artist’s art style and the type of publication (weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc…) :v
For part 1, Dio was also some kind of Jobro
EVA EVA EVA EVA EVA
I am so surprised you didn’t mentioned Junji ito
how dare you take the coggsie thumbnail
How is Stroheim not mentioned in this video one time? Dude blew himself up for Joseph, came back to fight the pillarmen with him, had his soldiers work together with the speedwagon foundation, went on a plane to fight the ultimate life form knowing fully well that he likely wont survive and broke Joseph's fall when said plane crashes into an active vulcano using his own body to save him. How does he not count as a JoBro?!
0:32 in video dropped. BTW keep ur fact to your self😊
no cap part 4 is peak like you said
It's okay for it to be popular, heck twas popular ever since. But one thing to watch out are those anime content creators that feeds off hate and toxicity patterns. You can actually see a lot of these creators starting to trash the niche itself just for their contents.
There all dead
0:25 I think that was objective 😭
after every amazing new season anime, theres at least 5 more jobless reincarnation isekai that gets pooped out
I love old anime.
Man, talking about manga art and not a single word about Q Hayashida, come on
bro i somehow finished s1 and many of them are saying s2 is also not that good
In oda’s defense He had something with his eye and kater on needed surgery💔
Honestly if hollywood focused more on western animation actually posted bangers like they did in the cartoon network and nick era of cartoons instead of remakes and sequels to we wouldn't be in this predicament.
Why was gaint steps playing😭😭
answer: yes...... as an "anime veteran with 1000+ series under his belt", I'm telling you anime MUST be gatekept, every fucking medium that gets this popular loses its charm eventually, just look at modern Hollywood, comics and even the gaming industry.... some things are just better niche or at least focusing on specific niches when making something where they can keep what made them special in the first place and no the industry isn't "doing better than ever", its on the verge of collapse due to historic shitty industry practices and not being able to handle todays demand for not only more anime, but for better animation. which is why even the most anticipated series like Uzumaki and Blue Lock can suffer fates even worse than series most people don't even know about the only ones "doing better than ever" are the corpos who don't care about anything but money
fun fact: the man who made the web comics for one punch man got an award for drawing the most realistic cup of water
I really miss the prepandamic times when being an anime fans was something you really love and having friends was really special with anime interrest these days the fanbase is just infested with woke progressive mainstream trash wich really overwhealms me with who treats you nice for being who you are or end up a being hated for say something that the so called progressive dont like

The reason is Netflix started bombarding the homescreen with animes as they started bringing in more popular animes into netflix which is why many non anime watchers probably started watching anime
Yeah, japanese will say Gumball is their favorite anime because they call every animation 'anime'
Great video
YES OF COURSE🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
king of sports manga yes. anime, probably not because of season two even though season one is stellar.
I'm glad it's popular I was alone in the anime lover community but I'm really glad I get to share my love of anime with my friends. I love the new show adaptations as well.
I’m in high school and my friends still bully me for watching anime
Fuck this anime mainstream shit, do you ever feel bad how western animation is having anime styles now, its disgusting
Itsumi mario
Gumballl is NOT and anime
it is. spongebob is a anime too.
Millennial take: I wish anime didn’t become as popular as it is today. Like it’s so awesome that everyone loves anime but man was it nice when it was just a niche thing. Like going to conventions didn’t feel as expensive as it does today since everyone is trying to get in
I think most of us millennials miss when anime niche
@ 2006-2012 was fr a goated era
I dont know man, but one think I've been seeing about (almost) all shonen anime after the mid-80s is that they just *HAVE* to put sex jokes and references everywhere, the amount of sex joke tropes I've seen in animes after the 80s is so exhausting, and that's just half the story. I was never a big fan on anime like tri gun or other anime which are reveared by anime fans because they're what i call "painfully average anime" (basically anime which is not bad but doesn't stick out and makes me bored af after 10 episodes) and in most cases, when anime creators want to make new anime characters "engaging" and "relatable" they end up making utter psychopaths. I swear, i you look most retro anime that released between 1970-1986 you'll see anime characters actually being humans and acting in reasonable ways. One of the few popular anime that I respect is Dragon Ball & Z, not super, coz that one is too "painfully average". Dragon ball z actually has a balance between funny moments and seriousness, something which I haven't seen other archieve
Jojo
You sure those were Shonen Anime, Anime isn’t just one specific thing you got a whole bunch of genre’s for this medium, because I haven’t really seen Shonen’s nowadays do s*x jokes like that, you have some that do them here and there but not as much as your putting it which is why I ask are you sure they were specifically Shonen because it could’ve been another genre that incorporated some elements of the Shonen genre.
@@Sage-X9I might have exaggerated on the sex jokes part sorry, but the rest is fully genuine...
@@alessandroaleman4512 Ah ok gotcha, but yeah I mean I half agree because I don’t watch what people hype up all the time I go out and find my own shows that I’m interested in now if I’m interested in said hyped Anime then I’ll watch it but not because this guy on the internet said it was good because of my own interests, a lot of the time it’s always the super Dark and serious Stuff like Trigon and don’t get me wrong I’m not knocking people for liking what they like sometimes I like some dark edgy shit as well but I’m like it’s all the time where it’s this super dark plot and characters are so serious with no other emotions that they feel like robots and I’m like jeez do people like a little fun in their lives lol, I get it people have different tastes but I mean this some stuff is like a Emo’s dream show (That’s not a knock at Emo’s) I know not every Shonen is like this for example Dragon Ball, JoJo, Naruto and all that but the ones I normally see like highly revered by fans it’s always some depressing dark stuff that can kinda get boring because it’s so dark and depressing and I’m not saying that’s a bad thing because this shows aren’t bad for being dark and serious it’s just that people will always tell you it’s the greatest thing ever and perhaps you yourself aren’t really into shows like that maybe you like balance where it’s able to shift tone without being jarring. I have no problem with people hyping up their favorite shows and it’s a great show but I feel the attitude surrounding this is you have to like what I like and not have your own opinion or like your own set shows or otherwise your opinion is trash and all that nonsense so you have a lot of people forcing themselves to watch a show that’s highly rated and praised but they have absolutely zero interest in it, I’ve a couple times with reactions here on YT.
@@Sage-X9 yea, I do have some favourite anime, but most of them fall into the category of 1970s-80 anime. Let me show you an example of my fave anime and the year they released: Ashita no Joe: manga written in 1968, anime adaptation made from 1970-1971 (S1) 1980-1981 (S2) Saint Seiya: manga and anime made from 1985-1990 Space adventure cobra: manga made in 1978-1980 Anime adaptation: 1982-83 You see what I mean? I just don't know why but personally, the way they did these anime was different from nowadays, at least in some aspects
i liked your video
yes
i truly believe that anime should have been underrated!
Idk I have liked anime for a long time since I was around like 5 I was watching Pokémon and studio Ghibi films after that when I was around 8 or 9 I actually started watching animes. The kids at my school would always say animes not cool or whatever. And now in highschool they still do exept for most of the people i know. And well Chinese class, that entire class is filled with anime fans but for some reason I'm still called the weeb.. I mean is bingeing 20 episodes a day really that bad? Dang I yapped a lot. I like people knowing about anime bc then i have someone to talk to about it but like also it feels less like a little club/community now
One big issue is that we are getting web novel adaptions too readily.... Like, these are fan fiction level works.... and they are just being quickly adapted into manga to fill up an app library and honestly, might even slowly kill off quality.... And many of these stories end up as anime.... but won't get a second run, because while many of these web novels start good, they actually kinda drag on and often get worse over time....
Webnovel adaptations are fine, as long as they are done properly, and dont ruin the source material. But As long as its good
Is it just me or is there a still a very negative correlation between anime and the average normie?
Wtf are you doing here😭😭😭
Yeah. A big reason is that anime fans push either degeneracy, weird stuff or just battle shounen so normies get the impression that's all anime is
@ the real question I should be asking is what are you doing here
Honestly I don’t really watch anime but my life is basically manga. I am currently reading 38 series
Oh shit mb and manhwa. For example solo leveling is originally a manhwa(meaning it’s from South Korea) but they don’t really have animation studios like that(and to boast popularity) so they made it an anime. Sorry if you alr knew all that and it seemed like I was gatekeeping or something.
