Dude thank you so much! I’m genuinely thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed it. It’s really good to hear from another Sonic fan! This is also one of my favourite pieces of music from the game too! I have listened to a lot of covers of old game songs and I really feel like they miss the mark, just because they don’t take the time to get the sound right. So I spend a lot time working on every detail. And Come Dine With Me 😂 oh my that was a while ago 🤣🤣 funny how we find different paths in life for sure!!

@@jamesvalrose Absolutely second you on that cover thing there, whenever I do covers/remixes I try and respect the sound choices of the original song; taking creative liberties with it only when I really think it works out. Glad to hear you work on that for a lot, it really shows you care! Also, just got chance to listen to this on my DT990s and there were some details I didn't notice before, like the chords playing on that soft synth saw on the last bar before the track loops around, such a small detail but I love that!

It’s so important to do justice to these songs. The tunes are great, but they need to be shown love and played well! I’m also really glad you heard that chord on that loop around. It’s a bit cheeky because it’s not actually in the song, but I just kinda heard it and thought it was a nice little touch, so I’m pleased someone noticed 😅 I also just saw your videos! Really nice work dude 😃 love the chilled out spring yard zone. I need to do a cover of that too!

Why thank you! That solo is just so perfect, and while it’s not the most complex thing to play, the bends will betray you if you don’t hit them right 😅
