Also no such thing as free healthcare. It’s cheaper with longer waiting times in the U.K. You just don’t get a bill after an ambulance ride. If you aren’t a citizen you have to pay and if you are a citizen you pay taxes to cover it.

I dont care what part of the world, call me too hygienic or culturalized but everyone needs at least 1 or 2 swipes of deodorant. Im sorry skip lotions, sprays, and perfumes. But deodorant is a must to me, maybe in native parta around the world i get it but if its more on the grid, and the cusp of city life i just don't see how personal hygiene isn't a common thing

Same here. I am a Korean American who left Korea when I was 13. I don't even like visiting Korea anymore. The superficial and validity seeking culture really devalue the people as a whole. No fun at all. Not to mention the aggressive, inpersonable drivers are exasperating.

대부분의 서양 사람들은 일본 중국 한국 이 동아시아 국가에서 일 까지 하면서 지내는 걸 좋아하는 사람은 없음 직장 문화가 서양이랑 너무 달라서 뭐 댓글에서도 많은 동성애 인종차별 이런 것들 근데 이런 건 서양도 마찬가지로 다 있어서 이게 동아시아의 문제만으로는 보기가 힘듦 당장 인종차별로만 기사가 나오는 게 미국인데 많은 곳에서도 동성애를 싫어하는 사람은 많고 살던 사람들도 알겠지만 다 시위로 인해서 이루어 진 거지 처음부터 그런게 받아 들여지진 않았으니까 근데 뭐 서양도 마찬가지로 불만들도 많은 건 똑같아서 그냥 원하는 나라에서 살면 될 듯

Deodorant is not common in Korea because their body odour is common among koreans. Why would other SEA nations would tell Koreans to use a deodorant if they smell good even in hot weather? Clearly, she said it's not common in Korea, BUT it doesn't mean they don't need it.

In Kerala, India our community’s (Nair) weddings are super quick too.

As said, in Aus, because of a strong history of unionism, a full time worker will get 4 weeks paid leave, no matter what industry, 4 weeks sick leave (which accumulates every year), an extra 3 months leave after you have worked between 7 and 10 years in the public sector or university, superannuation paid by every employer for retirement as part of your compensation, 16 weeks paid maternity leave at least, 2 weeks paternity leave and the right to disconnect after work hours. Some industries have better compensation, but the advent of the gig economy means some companies are working hard to rip off their workers in various dodgy ways.

I’ve been here in Korea for 5 months and I can honestly say, it has ruined my mental health and confidence… :(
