Not as good as the original (TOS, TAS) but better CGI. They changed the characters from TOS, so I never quite accepted this version. Star Trek post DS9 went downhill. Now it's too woke to be watchable. I just re-watch the classics: TOS, TAS, TNG, VOY, DS9. Everything else is inferior.
Enterprise NX-01 Series also way better then Discovery and all after, I see all after as other Alternate Universe's, only way I can watch them for entertainment and not see Star Trek

It wasn’t a romulan war ship it was a romulan mining vessel which had been enhanced by borg tech that’s why it looked so crazy
And the scans of that vessel made by Kelvin were reverse engineered and explains why the ships of Starfleet were upscaled in size after that event.
@@brettcooper3893 exactly… the thing I don’t get is that if the borg tech was able to make the nerada why couldn’t 24ty century star fleet do the same reverse engineering. It’s one of the things that I found to be problematic with how because of the nerada they were able to reverse engineer and make their ships better, but by that logic, why weren’t they able to do the same thing a century later in the prime timeline and still have those faster ships? It’s one continuity error that kind of irks me, but overall the logic holds.
@Peaceforall20111 well, in the Prime Timeline the Nerada didn't come through the wormhole. Remember, the Nerada originated from the Prime Timeline, a few years after the events of Nemsis. The Nerarda going back in time is the event that created the Kelvin timeline. Remember, Nero tells Kirk, "James Kirk was a great man, but that was another life." That's proof that Nero came from the Prime universe.

What I’m saying is if the board technology was able to enhance that timeline such that it was why is it that the historical federation was able to make major advances from that tech but the current prime timeline couldn’t make those same advances we’re saying the same thing.
