I’ve listened to many of these videos. I am trying to explain these concepts to friends and family (I am myself pretty muscular, lean and low body fat) following the same concepts). This video from coach Lilli is by far the best one I have seen (and the competition is massive in that field). Keep it up and thank you!

Elevating your toes on an RDL is pretty much pointless. The miniscule additional ROM doesn’t add any benefit, and the elevated toes don’t further engage the hamstrings or glutes. If regular RDLs are proving too easy, either up the weight or try a deficit RDL.

  • @Lillid4fit

Yes, there are rep ranges that are better for different goals/ results… but all of them will eventually STOP working when you use it for too long. Your body will adapt and you will eventually hit a PLATEAU in your progress. On average it takes our bodies 4-6 weeks to fully adapt to a new stimulus…meaning that you’ll want to adjust your reps every 4-6 weeks. This might also look like entering into a new training phase. In other words, stop just GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS in the gym. Staying in your comfort zone will LEAVE YOU STUCK progress-wise. Continue to push yourself in your workouts by changing the demand placed on your body💪🏽
