I lived in Milford since 1983. My grandparents resided in milford since I think 50s. If you are planning on moving to milford, delaware. Let me warn you. You aren't welcome. Not because of you, the person or family you are but because the developments have turned our neighborhoods into urban sprawl. You can not drive anywhere, you can't find doctors, we have homelessness on the streets/woods and panhandling because they can't afford the costs of living in this town they grew up in. We don't want bike paths or more restaurants. We are a farm community. Outside of the city on the east side of route 1 is farms, farm animals having sex outside 😲, bugs, large farm equipment, shooting guns. If you move here and complain about the spray on the farmland or the fact that we don't have a shoulder on the road. You will be ridiculed. You won't be welcomed. Our new bayhealth emergency room is rated 2/10. People complain all the time when they leave with a referral for a specialist they are unable to get an appointment for over 10 months. My PCP in milford, Dr. Sui is excellent, she is from Penn and not accepting new clients. They will be the first to tell you to go to Penn for imaging and specialists.
