      Very hard to experience not believing your own thoughts, much as I’d like to do it. Barely able to conceptualize it. Seems like I’d need use something like psychedelics.

    Nice video Helena, came up on my recommended surprisingly. I'm chronically looking for mental stimulation or rushing from task to task, even in situations where I should be enjoying the moment, like a game, instead of being present and enjoying the moment. I've found when you constantly look to the next thing while still currently doing a task, you start to stress out and resent the current and future task instead of looking at it like a thing you get to do and being present in it start to finish, the framing shift starts to make it more enjoyable again. You notice this more in moments like doing the dishes where you sometimes enter a mindfulness of the present and end up finding enjoyment in this mundane task as it's a reminder we're living right now.

      Hey, so nice to read your comment. I totally feel you with the chronic seeking! Yes, mindfulness of the present is such a practice worth practicing :) even if we think we can multi-task, really we can only think one thought at a time. So keep it up! one breath at a time
