The Russian MOD really pulled a fast one on us and the entire world as a matter of fact. Back in 2013/15 we had high hopes. We belived they were about to drop a game changer in reliability but more importantly, modularity. A decade later and we found out that they did absolutely NOTHING. They might as well have burnt the money the way they wasted it. They should’ve taken that money and refurbished 3 BMPs. Or 1 T-72. They should’ve taken that money and just bought from the AK-100 series or just bought modernized AK-74s like they had been doing since 1987. They should’ve taken that money and given it to roscosmos to do some cool space stuff. They had us all bamboozled. And we wanted to believe. Maybe because we want a real enemy. Maybe because we just want cool weapons. Maybe because we want to justify our federal spending. Maybe because we just want it to be real. Because we want to believe that innovation is something that can happen in Russia, that they have crawled away from communism and we’re on the path to become better. But we don’t get that. We get bullshit. We get despots and autocrats. We get a war with such shaky grounds that world enemy #1 has to talk about POLAND LITHUANIAN, a state that hasn’t existed for 300 years. He has to talk about pre Russian empire countries to try to justify the war. It would’ve been so much easier to just say “we need port”, or “we want oil”, or “overthrow government”. But no. He has to throw this bullshit “we’re the same peoples” argument out.

How similar are the internals of the SR3M with the Vintorez and Val? Are parts still interchangeable? I've heard that the cyclic rate goes up if you attach the suppressor. How true is that? Unsuppressed cyclic rate is apparently around 790-840 rounds/minute and suppressed at 900 rounds/minute. How true is that?

Сколько слез было бы пролито о проигравших конкурентах, которые были "интереснее", "перспективнее" и т.д. и т.п.?
