Aqua Nor 2023
Просмотров 151Год назад
PyroCore had an excellent week at Aqua Nor with Blue Ocean Technology. There was a lot of enthusiastic interest in the circular economy and particularly in Pyrolysis of sludge in aquaculture. The process creates energy needed for fish farms often remote and converts sludge into high quality biochar. Watch Stuart’s special cameo appearance on this video made by Blue Ocean Technology
PyroCore's solution for the circularity
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.Год назад
Pyrolysis involves the heating at high temperature of materials (between 600 and 900°C in the thermal oxidiser, from 500 to 850°C in the reactor) in an atmosphere that is deprived of oxygen. Under these conditions, the under process does not combust, but instead undergoes a chemical decomposition producing gasses and a solid material known as char. This process captures carbon and does not rele...
La solution PyroCore pour la circularité

    Dear PyroCore, well elaborated system ! I wonder how you avoid that air enters the system from the coal-side, when you change the container?

    Doesn't pyrolysis generate oil too? Where is it going? Or is it mixed with the char?

    What is your typical feedstock? What does the moisture content need to be?

    • @alexandervanheuverswyn2621
      @alexandervanheuverswyn2621 2 года назад

      The feedstock is determined by the actual cost to dispose the waste. It should be drier then 30% and have a size < smaller then 50mm before it enters the unit. We do provide pre-processaing accesories to reach these feedstock criteria. So there's no simple answer on your question, what the typical feedstock

      Hello. CB after tire Pyrolysis method is looking as powder nm on size with some parts of metal wire from the tires. We work with tire Pyrolysis. It is 5 tons of rubber loads up into the reactor.

    Have you thought about condensing down the gas and distilling it to make fuels. Plastic in particular can be broken down to diesel and gasoline fairly easy with the same process.
