Shaykh al-Islam [Ibn Taymiyah] said in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 32/194: Whoever thinks of increasing his daughter’s mahr and asking for more than the daughters of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) were given - when they were the best women in this world in all aspects - is an ignorant fool. The same applies to asking for more than the Mothers of the Believers were given. This applies even if one is well off and can afford it. With regard to one who is poor, he should not give a mahr greater than he can afford to pay without any hardship.

“The wife’s money is her money and the husband’s money is both their money” is a lie spread by certain compassionate imams like Nouman Ali Khan. As long as the husband is providing for her rights, she cannot take a single penny without his permission. She can only take it if he’s not providing for her and she must only take what is sufficient for her needs to be met. The ruling is taken from this Hadith: Hind bint ‘Utba said, Oh Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! Abu Sufyan is a miser and he does not give me what is sufficient for me and my children. Can I take of his property without his knowledge?” The prophet (ﷺ) said, “Take what is sufficient for you and your children, and the amount should be just and reasonable. And if he’s not providing for her, there’s even a difference of opinion amongst scholars about whether she needs to go to a qadhi first or she can just take the money.

I pay my bills my self I don’t use nobody money I borrow money from my partner I give it back I don’t get nothing on anyone I’ll pay my own bills. I’ll buy my own stuff. I don’t want money from anyone if I have bills to pay and I don’t have money I ask him I pay him back it’s been like this for years I never use a man in my life my relationship based on my personality, I am a decent person I don’t like to use we no longer together because I can’t be in a relationship that respectful woman his mother as me you never have money laughing at me, you never have money. How does this house runs with the shopping? I’ll pay for everything in the house as a woman I’m too well for myself. I just need to respect the reason why people separate up is because the third-party gets involved in your relationship and that’s why your relationship goes down to heal and it did. I don’t have no respect from the man love I don’t like people calling me bitch calling me names as a mother-in-law calling me names my relationship goes down the hill tell her we set up because I’m not there to get these bad words. I have a baby on the way if she doesn’t like me being pregnant and she didn’t want the baby person relationship for parties you can’t get involved in a relationship and don’t want the baby. If two people agrees to have a baby is they a relationship that’s why you have to keep everyone out of your business but you came to end which we broke up, because when you allow people get into your business, what you wearing what you wear how you dress up how you make up it shows that the person doesn’t like you didn’t like in the beginning, so it does anything to break your relationship up and I’m not there to pick up the broken pieces. I just walk away I don’t want no money for him. He wants to give my money I told him by your mom‘s house make her happy. I don’t want nothing from you because I ain’t going in that house because I’m not no longer with you because she broke us relationship make her happy I’m off I don’t get no money from them I stand on my feet I have şeref namus and I’m Alevi and Sunni his only Sunni and his mum told me your a problem because I’m a Alevi I am proud to be a Alevi I don’t like to lie, I just can’t be again I don’t Like someone playing about with me, I just wanted decent person, I just don’t want nothing more. But .. in all HUMILITY I would APPRECIATE KNOWING if the Poor Parents in their Miserable Old Age have to be sent to Home for the Aged , since Sons after their Marriage are ADVISED to live with their Wife AWAY From their Parents ??
