@@directbreaks7674 it's not xEnviro. X Plane has cloud lighting from the moon by default. ITC allows you to adjust the intensity of the cloud lighting. All of this only works if the moon is in the sky, which is by design from X Plane.

ive used it before and now its better as you dont need flywithlua it just goes straight into the plugins folder. i love using it, great wee mod, i also use other light with it, night light edits by swamsim.😊

Hi, I'm the author/programmer of the mod. The installer will pop Windows Defender sometimes because it copies files to and from folders. You don't have to use the installer if you don't want to (just follow the instructions for "Manual Installation.") I don't make malware/spyware.

that is strange ive never had any issue with ITC, ive had it with other things in x plane like the zibomod 737-800. and some other plugins. they seem legit, so i wouldn't worry to much, but thats entirely up to you if you want to take the chance.

x plane 11 had the shuttle for re entry😁

thank you very much😊. yea im using xenviro and a few light mods like beautiful x plane nights, ixtg light controls, extended night lights and that brings x plane 11 to life😊

The problem is that X-Plane 12 looks like hot garbage. For example, when I took my discovery flight out of my local airport, KFDK in a Piper Arrow, I practiced in the sim the night before. During the actual flight the two experiences were so similar it was crazy. I knew EXACTLY where I was because when I looked out the window, it was just like what I would see in MSFS. The aircraft handled very similar to what it did in the sim, except for the rudder pedals, I was surprised at how stiff the real ones were. In X-Plane 12 I could take every resident in Frederick, put them in the sim, not telling them where the were in the world and not ONE person could correctly identify that they were over Frederick Maryland. Heck the same applies for Baltimore. For training in small GA aircraft for VFR flying there is NO COMPETITION between the sims. MSFS is LIGHT YEARS better than X-Plane 12.

if you really know x plane you know its not true to real life but it does a pretty good job i think. if you stay near mountains etc you could easily recognise them. but yes its not pretty like msfs but it sure does a great job to make you think your flying, at the end of the day its just pixels and not real life, a hobby or fun for most so lets just enjoy what we want to enjoy. its not really its still got its problems just like x plane has problems. its weird as soon as msfs came out every one wanted to slag x plane which is sad as x palne was light years ahead of msfs and i still think x plane is better than msfs ans way ahead. i mean yous had to get msfs 24 to get bumpy groun, where x plane 11 12 had that also wipers working on the planes, weather radar just to name some. all msfs problems oh and the camera and views are awkward too. so its not perfect by any means.😊

im using vatsim at the moment obnly using in observer mode for now. i do have traffic global but i dont trust it on long flights with the big jets. long periods seem to mess it up sometimes.

thats a tough one i like it all every single part of the default sim, well maybe not every single part but plane wise that has to be the zibomod B737-800, the flight factor B777-200ER and the dash 8 Q400 are my top fav planes😊

only x palne 11 and 12 and a msfs for a year on and off, that didnt go well😁😁😁
