Not a problem!!! So when you send a template to the board it will hold it in 1 of the 64 templates you place it into. My recommendation is to create the zones 1-8 with the templates you want. Then save a session with all the settings you want, usually the 1st one, but do this without any other changes, arps etc. That way, it's easy to recall anytime you want a default session with your templates ready to go.

With all the add-ons on the board you could probably most the most important knobs on cherry audio. However some of their plugins are full of knobs lol! But give it a try!

You can easily assign CC to the sliders. Unfortunately I haven't seen a way to assign the pads as easily. They don't work as nicely as drum pads. I'll look further onto the pads but it looks like they're mainly to be use for changing things internally on the board itself.

It's fun to do a little dabbling on there. Honestly, I seldomly use Arps in most of my productions. However, there are times when it's fun to try something new.

Absolutely! I'm actually starting to film them this weekend to come out next week. I just needed to redo and wrap up this series for people who subbed to learn the SL MKIII. It's definitely not as popular as the fantom O, that's for sure, lol!

They definitely missed the mark on memory with this board. It doesn't make sense. I don't need all the features on the big Fantom just the sounds and it doesn't make sense to shell out another $1800 just to get access to more memory. You can add extra zenology patches however there's a cap on that with this board even though there is enough memory for more patches then they allow.

I definitely agree. They should have opted to put in at least a few GBs onto the board. Basically, it can barely fit 1 supernatural expansion into the board. A big miss, in my opinion.

How are you recording audio? Are you recording it into a DAW Or something like and MPC?

I have a new series covering as much as possible on the board this week. One episode covers this idea. The scales episode. When in scales mode, you have multiple pads that are highlighted, allowing you to transpose the step sequencer notes. Also, you can adjust the key/type of scale you're in. Hopefully, that helps. I can make a video on whatever I like. I didn't post the name of the website because that would inadvertently promote the website. I've seen all kinds of channels get stupid claims against them for stupid reasons. There is plenty of screen shots to identify the website if you come across it. The main point of the video isn't to call out a specific website but to show producers looking to buy plugins how to spot an obvious scam.

While this is possible, it is highly unlikely. Chances are much higher they're selling cracked plugin. Some people may be OK with that while others are, unfortunately, getting duped. The odds of them having real keys for sale went out the window the moment they showed nexus 2 for sale.

Download a bunch of crack plugins on your computer and install them and leave them on your computer and show everyone that your CPU wasn't affected in anyway shape or form and do a before and after and post it on your channel for everyone to see the evidence. My "anecdotal" evidence is first-hand experience from people I've physically worked with in person whose computers were trashed by using cracked plugins. Why would I need to prove anything about that. Plus, I'm sure all the people cracking plugins and software are doing solely for the love of the game without gaining anything in return. You didn't read anything else I wrote in the comment section, but cherry-picked viruses to hang your hat on. I have plenty of issues with the music industry and production as a whole that I could make a whole video on. However, because I focus mainly on being positive towards people, I chose to give advice on staying away from cracked plugins. Plus, you think a site like this wouldn't steal payment information? As far as companies' products, if they're good, they're good. If they suck buy something else theirs plenty of other routes than using or advocating cracked plugins. I'm not judging you as far as a person I don't know you. But your comment expressed in the beginning doesn't have merit because you told me to prove it. Is it ok to steal a car because you can't afford it, then give them money years later when you can afford it? No matter how you spin it or cherry, pick it, the bill gets passed to the people who actually purchase the product. Hence, so many places are going subscription based? The consumer foots the bill and gets screwed because people are cracking software. They're literally protecting their platforms. Not all, but most companies have adjusted to theft, and unfortunately swapped to subscriptions. Those who haven't gone subscription based created online connections to use their products to ensure their customers are customers. There's a lot to unpack with piracy, and yes, viruses are amongst them.

What companies are taking licenses from their customers? If that was the case, I'm sure the online community would SLAM them for it. There's so many free trails nowadays that the need to "crack" a plugin first isn't needed. There are so many free plugins out there to make music with, free DAW, etc. Plus, there are countless reviews on vsts to get an idea whether or not they're worth purchasing. Let's be honest. Most people who are using cracked plugins will almost never buy the program. This also devalues music as people who crack plugins have no "skin" in the game. They're usually trying to sell music made from plugins they never paid for. Not a high horse at all. The means and information is at an all-time high to be informed before making a purchase that was never there 10 plus years ago. Plus, sites like these scam people who might actually think they're buying the real deal stealing money from the customer and the company.

Yes, in which most keygens contain some form of virus that can cause harm to your computer in some way, slowing it down, crashing your DAW, throttling your internet, stealing your information, or even killing ports on your computer. Not a smart way to get plugins....

@@GammaLensMedia never said it was smart, but if you’re on OSX you’re likely fine. Also most keygens don’t contain viruses - these sites want you coming back to spend more money. They’re literally just taking warez scene releases and repackaging them and charging you for it. I’m not condoning buying from these sites, just commenting on how they usually work.

@@GammaLensMedia none of this is actually really true. These are repackaged "scene" releases that they are charging for. It's scummy, but most of these are going to be perfectly safe - especially if you're on OSX. I don't condone buying from these sites but just commenting on how these sites work.

These are if you purchased Ableton Directly no upgrades. I upgraded from 11 standard to 12 suite for $350ish. The dollar keeps falling behind unfortunately.....

It's not a dumb question. I use a program called OBS it captures audio from the computer. However, I have to use a vst called restream to send audio from Ableton into OBS because the computers built in drivers are lackluster when dealing with audio delay.

They don't this was an extreme method to try to see how well the polyphony would hold up. According to many people they're worried about buying the board due to "polyphony" issues. Have had people stay away because they've had polyphony issues. However for my use of the board this isn't an issue for me.

It would be nice to show support for their hardware users. It's really hatf because I love the fantom 0. However they crippled it with the lack of storage. However for a producer like me the money isn't well spent for the flagship, When I really and just after the roland sounds not a workstation. Zenology is a great plugin but it takes some patience for me when loading and browsing. The 2 could be integrated very well I just don't understand why they don't pull the trigger and do it. It seems like they have a bad PR guy when it comes to explaining their products and the pros and cons of what they really have to offer to musicians and producers. Honestly I was even thinking on going with the integra but that thing is still a pretty penny. I'm fairly new to their mod wheel (it's sleek for sure) but I need more time with it to get the most out of pitch bending.
