Thanks for all you do. Great opportunity 👍
Wish I knew which screws you're taking about. Didn't really help much
That is very nice of you bro
That’s really cool what y’all are doing with that bow I got my Hoyt venom Pro 33 from y’all couple years ago and love it
🤦♂
Great tips ! Looking forward to future vids
Amen and good knowledge of scripture brother, we should all take a note from darton (my self included) and share the gospel with more people.
Definitely need more bow reviews from the guys at bowtreader.
We definitely need to see more of you in Statesboro!
@bowtreader my bank account disagrees every time I'm down that way lol
@@Critterslayer19 HA I hear ya!
I wonder if you can get custom versus from other of the world's religious texts? How cool would that be!?
I think the cool part about it is them sharing a message about what they believe. Perhaps if they believed in other texts they would choose to put that on their bows/products. It's inspiring when a company is unashamed of what they believe and not just aiming/willing to do something just to get a sale. From a custom stand point I bet you could get a sticker made up to put on any bow that says anything you want.
one of the dummest things to put on a bow is put Bible verus on them so sad
Oh man, how is it sad?
How you figure and why does it matter dont affect the bow
I personally like that a lot. Good job Darton!
I agree 100%! Good to see a company that is willing to state what they believe regardless of the outcome. One would assume some may not purchase the product due to the Bible reference. Perhaps some will purchase for that same reason. The other bows in the market certainly aren't just blowing Darton out of the water. However, I am willing to bet that had nothing to do with their decision at all. So often we see companies that want to jump on a cause because it is the fad topic and they need to "have a voice". Their willingness to be bold in their faith is admirable. God bless @humblehunts1793!
Yeah I don't know that I would call it dumb. A face tattoo of your girlfriend's name = DUMB. Bible verse on a bow = No regrets! Just my thoughts...
Take the camera off auto focus and learn to focus the thing!
It would be awesome if you guys started posting all your podcasts here on youtube! I have enjoyed listening
Great videos thanks for the tips, loves me hamskea. Where are the follow up technical videos you spoke of...
Hey that’s the Gritty intro music 😂😂
What size key is the elevation lock screw?
Pse also has the lower stab mount. Which I love.
I dont like shooting with a quiver but you can buy a follow up quiver, single arrow quiver specifically for guys that don't want a quiver. Its 3d printed. Look it up. I run one and love it.
Answered my question, thanks
Is that a different cam setup on the Ultra?
Good eye! It is one that we had some fun with.
There is an issue with the left audio channel. Hard to watch with headphones.
Thanks for the heads up. We will get this corrected before the next video.
@@bowtreader Thanks, myself and other headphone users will appreciate this :)
I cant take anyone serious that says the Hamskea Epsilon rest is a good rest. That thing is so bad! The integrated rest is the standard you say.....now tell us how the Hamskea connects again.
🤣 That rest drove me crazy the first time I installed it. It really is a great rest but you're right - the Integrate is just hard to beat. Do you have a preference between limb driven and cable driven? If there were a better mounting solution for a limb driven (integrated) would you go with it? Asking for a friend.
@@bowtreader I have the Hamskea Trinity and Epsilon because every one talked them up. Come to find out Hamskea's are the definition of poor engineering (count the number of screws between your bow and the rest and then how many sizes of hex keys needed to change things. now adjust the rest and see how easy it is). I like the Vapor Trail rest so much more. I prefer the limb driven rests a little more because in my short ATA bows the thickness of the cord on a cable driven messes with the sync of the cams. As a note I have tried AAE Pro Drop, Trophy taker smack down Lock up, Hamskea Trinity and Epsilon, Vapor Trail Gi8X and Gen7X, QAD Ultra Micro and Ultra micro integrate.
@@calt9777I'm a tinkerer. I like my vapor trail but I shelled out for the Trinity so I can experiment with arrow diameters more without moving the rest. The swappable blades are an easier solution for me.
Mathews was NOT the first to do a QAD integrated rest.. PSE did this with the decree HD in 2015. Likely there was previous bows as well
Dang! You learn something new every day. Do you have one of those rests that PSE used back in 2015? I would love to see it. Did they have a place milled into the riser to mount it? Was it a QAD rest or a rest that PSE made? Pete has always been ahead of the times but he was able to sneak this one under the radar. Seriously, comment with a pic of it.
The out takes at the best part🤣🤣🤣
The boss is always good for a laugh.
Doesn't use thermocell, gets ate up the whole video😂
@@johnwise1054 He ain't gonna use it. Says it doesn't fall in the category of making your babies come out naked. You really gotta be careful with what you put in your body... 🤨
My son and I were at John's place in Statesboro today for the first time. John spent a lot of time with us sorting out a new bowsight my son had purchased second hand. Great people and very knowledgeable. We both came away very impressed.
Thanks Mark! I Had a blast working with you and Mark 2 ;). Be sure to check out Christian's videos that I was telling you about. @archerystrong. I look forward to seeing you at the saddle hunting class.
Great review
I love my v3x 29. I got it in October granite wt red and black strings. Hamskea epsilon rest made for mathews. Spot Hogg fast Eddie xl double pin sight. Mathews low pro 1pc 5 arrow quiver. Conquest control freak pro stabilizers wt the smacwrap tech a 12 inch up front wt a qd and a lower back bar wt a 9 inch and a qd. And the engage limb legs. It is fast.and steady also quite.
You shooting arrows towards a roadway , smdh ... tighten up people

I had no idea there was a bow shop of this magnitude in Statesboro. Very cool video, contest and recipe. Live in Hinesville, shoot a V3X 29 currently. But I would love to shoot the omnia. Will swing by soon.
Thanks Bill! We look forward to working with you.
Awesome! Good work guys!
Y'all need to host one down around Thomasville!
I could use those arrows! I only lost one on the Legends course but busted 3 in a row on the iron pig target hitting center of the cross.
This was a super fun and relaxed 3D shoot. I ran both the bowhunter and legendary course. The legendary was a very fun and challenging course. I will be attending more of the Bowtreader events for sure!
Great video tribute to a great course setup. All that Bowtreader does is top notch
That was my first time doing something like this and the way they set up all the various targets was such a blast🤗
The 7" BH is killing the speed. However, speed isn't everything. I bet it is a dream to walk around the range and shoot.
That's the most difference I've Ever noticed in a bow with a whisker biscuit as opposed to a drop away...I've usually seen the most as 1-3 fps from the string...Interesting but I love the whisker...My choice, but great vid...Thanks guys...I just realized something...When you were checking #age, the first bow was at 71.9 #'s then I heard you say again the bow was at 75#'s...Did I miss something or hear something wrong??
72.9 so we just rounded up and said 75
@@michaeledwards2880 That's NOT mathematically correct, is it??? 71.9 would be 72...72.9=73...Not 75...Based on those inaccurate numbers, your test is a sham...Glad I could help...🤔🤨😒
Thanks for all that work and set up! That takes time and some patience. Then you guys didn't mark where your feet were standing everything you shot thru chrono, sometimes feet were on black rubber and sometimes both feet off and closer to chrono. So it throws off the chrono speeds 1 or 3 fps
Thanks guys! But, so many variables when speed testing. Cable driven vs limb driven. Varying back tension with two different shooters. Lack of averages. Facial contact. But, real life testing as you’ve done is prolly the best way. I dunno any human hooter shooters! Thx!
What was the percent on the let off since 80% would be faster than the 85%. Thanks.
We have tested with the hoyts and seen no speed increases when going to 80%
I think arrow fletchings do more than peeps and rests when guys do 4 huge vanes in a offset with a helical clamp they look like boat props. You should do 3 vs 4 straight vs helical vs offset all that.
Could you do a video on kisser buttons verses nose buttons?
Cool vlog nice to know that there is some difference between the two types of arrow rests. Just one thing just to say is that both of you guys do not look built at all I see no muscle definition in either one of you guys you just know how to pull the bow the right way.
someone is mad they can only draw 50 pounds
Thanks for doing this video, not a lot of people do this!
Of course! Thanks for watching!
@@bowtreader the results of this test are inaccurate because you didn’t use a Mathews VXR 🙄 lol
Looks like a great shooting bow but way off advertised speeds
I tried one yesterday and it was amazing… set over 70lbs and felt like 50 lbs
rx7- turbo... that's what was needed.. Considering it is " 7 x stronger than aluminum" It should be able to handle Turbo speeds! right?
Hoyt also dropped the Twin Turbo. It is the carbon turbo bow, but it is the rx5 ultra riser and grip with a new turbo cam. By far the smoothest turbo cam I’ve ever shot.
What mod is on the cam for the 29 inch draw? Are the mods 27-29 and 29.5 to 30? Thanks for sharing! 👍🏼
5-10fps pickup on a drop away????? New bows are not bad but let’s be a bit realistic. They are (as are almost ever bow) a bit slow shooting a 420gr arrows at 29/75. Also the key change this year is the riser is ALL CARBON. Gone are the metal attachment posts. They and it is two tubes of carbon compared to 3. That is the largest improvement.
I highly doubt anyone would be picking up any fps over a whisker biscuit and no peep to a drop away with a peep. Any gain you got, maybe 3 fps, by switching to a drop away, you lose by adding the weight of your peep. That's been my experience anyways. These magical IBO speeds are just that. I've yet to see very many bows that lived up to the hype of the claimed speed.
@@chrisanderson5369 that is what I was trying to get across. I appreciate the effort of this video but the technical info was a bit off.
@@chrisanderson5369 we just posted a new video on bowtreader’s page where we put this to the test using this exact bow. We tested for what kind of speed increase you will see when you swap to a drop away and how much a peep sight will take away. Go check it out
