I feel like shes gained ease in the upper notes but shes lost power in the mid belts. I kinda wish shed tone down some of the high mix belts bc theres no wow factor anymore 😭 shes constantly going high so it doesnt sound as impressive when she does the iconic adlibs

What I love about her new voice is that the mid belt resonance is kinda back, we lost it during tmylm era, but we have that gorgeous, resonant, sustained Bb4 in Confident back

I wouldn’t classify anything over G#5 as a belt. The mix is so head dominant that it is basically head voice. She loses all projection. The notes are thin, weak, shrill and nasal. She also struggles to maintain stability and agility

I think she should move all her songs a few keys up(2-3 semitones ideally). Because of her changing her teaching, her voice doesn't project as well in the lower section/phrased verses as well as it used to before as her tessitura has moved up. It is really hard to maintain proper pitch in the lower range if you're inculcating a lot of head resonance.

tbh the studio one is NOT good when you isolate it and hear it better. It's so close to cracking. I think B5 is a good limit for her, her live B5's in Sorry Not Sorry sound good without sounding weak and heady, above that I think it just becomes too mixed to sound climactic anymore. Either way it's impressive to hit those notes in mix at all.

They’re in a different key. The first is a flat C6, but the second is higher by a semi tone, so a C#6.

I think her biggest fail in 2023 was the pitch issues in the 4th of July concert (Which was also a win for having the first high notes of Revamped versions), the fact that this video is just a little more than a minute @despairingleonardo had a video of them, I think 2023 was as good as 2022 with some higher notes that took out some consistency that now is back after gettin used to the technique
