This channel is about experiencing what this planet has to offer i.e. music, literature and traveling. Some videos are dedicated to teaching in China. I haven't been here long (at least not from my people's perception), but what I've seen so far still inspires me to create content for good memories.
NANJING (NANKING), CHINA (nice places around the city)
Here I want to show how we usually hang out around Nanjing when the weather is nice. Thanks to all beautiful people for being in this video. I compiled various trips here and there into one short film to show how spectacular Nanjing is if you know where to go. Please enjoy!

Legal teaching in China

Here are some insights about being legal in China from an experienced expat named Vicky. Teaching in a foreign country is a lot of fun, however, it is vital to stay safe and be on a legal side. Some countries are easy towards teachers, and some are not. China is a great place to teach, but you have to know what you can or cannot do here if you want to sleep well at night. 20:45 crazy world we live in
I know, right?
Very informative video, thank you. My sitiation is sinilar to that of Amanda, who has commented above. Although I was born and raised in Italy, I have been spending the last 23 years (that is, most of my adult life) in the UK and I currently hold both an Italian and a British passport. Moreover, I am currently working on a US teaching licence (it was cheaper and faster than a PGCE). To be completely honest, I have my eyes set on public schools in Taiwan not only because I love Taiwan but also because I believe it would be an easier option for someone like me who has no teaching experience whatsoever. But I am also intrigued by the possibility of moving to China, and especially to Chengdu. My question is: does the fact fhat I hold a UK passport and will soon also hold a Secondary English (ELA) US teaching licence compensate for the fact that, technically speaking, I am not a native English speaker? How would employers (schools) in China see my profile? By the way, I also hold a BA in English and French literature from an Italian university and a 120-hour TEFL certificate. I speak Italian, English, French, Spanish and am currently learning Mandarin and Brazilian Portuguese. Ideally, I would like to teach English and/or English literature. I would love to know what you think, as an expert. Thank you very much 🙏🏼
Thank you for your comment! You are so well-equipped that I think you have all chances to find a job in China easily! However, if I were you, I would just say that I was from the UK. You hold the UK passport - and that's all they need really. I'm pretty sure that you don't have a heavy or any accent speaking English, so to maximize the outcome it's better to just say that you are from the UK and that you are a native speaker. Or if you feel uncomfortable saying that you are a native speaker - just say you are from the UK :-) which technically you are now.
@@aleksandrlukin565Thank you so much for the encouraging feedback. I agree with you. It would make more sense to hide or at least not to highlight the fact that I was Italian before I became British. Yes, I must say that my accent is near native (also because I started speaking English when I was 8, that is 42 years ago). I look forward to your next video. I'm loving your channel. Keep it up 😊
@@TheGianko74 thank you very much for encouragement! It means a lot! I’m glad my videos provide some usefulness :)
Hi sir, I am a teacher from the Philippines. My major is English, can you help me find a job in China?
Hello! I'm sorry, but I'm not an agent of any sort. I'd recommend websites dedicated to teaching jobs in China. Just google it! Good luck!
I’m not a native English speaker, but I have been living in Ireland since I was 13yo, and I have an Irish passport, do you think I’d still be ok to teach English in China? I’m getting my TEFL cert soon
You have Irish passport - have a huge advantage here! TEFL is ok. However, I would suggest to look into PGCE. It's MUCH more valuable in teaching career. (avoid iPGCE)
Thank you for your videos! And helpful comments.)) If you don’t mind- what good voice/vocal processor would you recommend for singing recording? Live and studio. For example, KP3+ is not bad, but it’s noisy which is not good for real quality sound. What is like Strymon, but for singing records?)
@@leonidfedoseev3521 you are welcome! Honestly I never use a processor for recoding vocals as I ask the sound engineer to use reverb and such in the mixing and mastering part of the working on the track/ song. For live performing I use Boss Vocal Processor VE-20 and KP3+

@@joanaknezevic5715 happy to hear it! Thanks for the comment!
It illustrates how Chinese people idolize foreigners so much that as long as someone is white, they can come to China and teach English. It's really sad.
I think the beat advice for teachers is to obey the rules. This makes teachers safe. Safety first.
Informative and interesting video as always. I think this one will be of help to many. Thank you for sharing. ✌✌✌

Great stuff. You should make more videos. You should talk about regional differences in China when it comes to teaching.

Hello! Love your video! I'm considering moving to China to teach. Is it easy to send money back to your U.S. bank account? Is it expensive or high-risk? It was a nightmare when I lived in Vietnam! The fees ranged from $15-45! I'm an American educator with 12 years of international teaching experience. I currently tutor students privately online. Much obliged! Also, what are the classrooms like? Do they use AC in summer and proper heating in winter? Sadly, I ask because in Vietnam, they believed too much AC was bad for your health. We were sweating like pigs and one woman nearly passed out! Thank you for taking the time to answer. BTW- I have WeChat & Xiaohungshu in case there are any groups you'd recommend to connect with other foreigners. I'm interested in Chengdu and Chongqing.
Only white people….

Hello! Very informative video! Thanks a lot for the info. If you don't mind, I'd really ask for your advice here; I'm a music teacher in Spain graduated from the Royal Higher Conservatory of Music of Madrid, and I have 3 years of experience in the field. I also plan on getting the TEFL certificate and already have the Cambridge English C1 standard certificate. Right now I'm 23, and I already have checked some job posts in chinese job forums and I can see some very high salaries, but I don't know what they really expect from you, if could I teach Spanish, or how much should be the minimum to ask in my situation... Any advice, specially from someone like you, is very welcome. I appreciate your time and patience for reading such a long comment! Have a nice one 👌 (Btw, I planned to teach un Guangzhou, but time will tell I guess)
