The Volthyrian Dynasty rules an inter-dimensional and galactic Empire that spans across many worlds. Despite its scale and diverse economies, the empire has managed to ordain a somewhat stable currency: the Aetherya crystal.

I'm interested in your sources and inspirations for the worldbuilding. Especially your philosophy behind building it like this.
If sentient aetherya exists how are responsibilities split between them and the sovereign(Valkaia)? What are the sentient aetherya that haven't bonded with a family like? Also are there sentient aetherya with the minds of multiple people melded together? Because dragons are so rare, how does the appearance of one shift power between dragon clans.

Pretty cool magical system! I'm actually writing my story with the magic system philosophy where each character has their different ways to express themselves with said magic system, where each character represents an know genre, sub-genre. With the end result being an story where an magical girl, a robot, a shonen protagonist, an eldritch monster and an character out of a physycological/thriller series are against an cowboy, a cultivator out of a wuxia novel, an wizard, a kamen rider/Saint Seiya inspired character and finally the leader being a cartoon character that looks like he was straight from the 1920s...with the craziest part of all being that I decided to approach this premise seriously, or as seriously as you can, of course.
This is an great idea but I feel it's gonna be hectic to think of how the story will unfold.😂
@@AreUReady2007 oh, its hectic alright, but I did figure out how to make a proper path for the story to take, there's at least 5 arcs planned, each focusing on one of the 5 main characters. Starting with the character who would represent the Thriller/Psycological genre, followed by the robot magical girl who represents the Mecha genre, with the third a half-human half-monster magical girl who represents the Shonen genre, the fourth who's eldritch magical girl who represents the Horror genre and finally the final arc focusing on the, proper, classical magical girl of the team
@@moacirpatricio5718 I also have some ideas and one is an isekai but how isolating it would be to teleport to another world where you can't even communicate with the natives , with the burden is to find a loved one that got dragged there and him following them. Sounds neat to me 🤔😁.
@@AreUReady2007 Uh, I actually had an idea for an Isekai I would like to write after I finished with my current story. In fact, in the current story that Im writing one of the characters does represent the genre, being the first character to be introduced and, altrough it isnt the same as yours, I still belive its an angle that hasnt been explored yet, as far as I know at least, with so many isekais I wouldnt be surprised

Personaly, Ithink that currencies that are phisical usefull resources aren't good. If it can be used to create tools it means that anyone with money will be able to create weapons and that on market there will alweys be diffrent amount of that currency. But in that situation it can be good for some GIANT empire becouse it is aveilable everywhere and can be uses everywhere. Abaut grades I think it will be interesting when someone could create their own crystals with their atribybutes that only they can use (including equipment made from it, it will be more powerfull and compatable). To that ai there shoul be some barriers becouse it could recive unlimited data and memories and do somethig bad (planet of EtheraTech). Ando self learning weapons are always good. How will you take texes from phisical objects, cut into pieces?. I love the idea of this book and can't wait to hear more abaut this world. Good Luck in creating this amazin piece of art 😏👌

Personally i find the pop-up words a bit distracting from your explanations, BUT i also find them a bit funny and i like them. When you eventually get into the nitty giddy and the finer details, could you not add them? Love your world, love your videos and please keep it up <3

Pretty cool, I think the issue that I'm sorta feeling is that this doesn't really feel like a currency, it feels a lot more like a resource in an RPG, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's just different, but keep up the work regardless. I've been loving your stuff.

hmm nice creature and a overload I just needed such a creature for my story that can help and make the people under him unique and it fits perfectly as mostly magic that's like DNA mutation (a person can mix the muscle and bone of other creature in their body and different places have different mutation some in mouth some in legs etc.) is happening in my story so, my question to you <@kings and Dragons> is if i can add these creature in my story well although with its memory and rebirth ability sealed

Hey man, a friend of mine is creating an original story and is trying to devise a power system but is unsure of how to proceed. Here is what he has so far. Characters even in the beginning of the series are significantly above the average human in terms of strength, showcasing superhuman levels of strength and durability that would kill the average human, due to their Arks granting them superhuman characteristics with elemental manipulation. It's nothing too original since elemental powers are basically the standard norm for most shonen works but he wants advice on how to make it unique. He is considering taking the Bleach route where the owner's weapons basically have their souls attached to their weapons but he feels that would be far too complicated. For each weapon, there's also a "release" command that was majorly inspired by Bleach where a user's power is multiplied by a factor of ten at the cost of increased stamina consumption leading to fatigue. He has played a lot of mobile games and is a fan of Arknights power system of Originium Arts, but doesn't want to copy it entirely. He is basically considering scrapping and starting all over since the power system he wants basically contrasts heavily with the story arcs he has in mind The worldbuilding he has so far is inspired by both Attack on Titans and Cyberpunk 2077 along with RWBY so he has that down. It's basically a dark dystopia-based work.

Sounds like potential for a very interesting fusion of power systems. I would suggest absorbing your favorite elements from each series and simplifying them so they don’t over-complicate the story when they come together. Story-wise, I think any power systems can be modified to fit a story as long as the main conflict remains clear and character arcs made sense. Cheers and good luck on your worldbuilding!
If it’s dark and dystopian, maybe the magic system is locked behind a certain material? Instead of it being something like Dust from RWBY, maybe there’s a specific plant that is used for weapon manufacturing, but is also a highly addictive drug. I read an article earlier today with a similar idea, but it could easily be tweaked for the type of world your going for.

Why are they called earth dwellers if the planet isn't called earth? Shouldn't they be called kolm dwellers, or stone dwellers?
Good question. The name is translated from the Kolmic name that means "Dwellers of the earth"--"earth" here refers to "(noun) the substance of the land surface; soil" [Oxford Languages]

If aetherya can be used to store memories and information couldnt it be used to essentially make clones of a person. Also they could be used to transfer your whole personality and knowledege by giving it to an infant thus allowing a person to gain pseudo immortality just a few random thoughts

Good question. Weak or young anima are killed with the destruction of their physical bodies because their life-force is bound to the vessel and dissipates upon death. Stronger and more ancient anima are able to preserve their consciousness and slowly rebuild their strength back from the Void Space. This is especially true for anima that have gathered followers or even cults, becoming false gods or deities.

interesting would be some unique aspects that can be manipulated by certain people (random people) that people don't have unique afinities but simply high affinities with elements/powers that normaly have nearly 0% affinity with normal people (tricky would be affinity with simply aeon and manipulating it not changing it)
